My name is Stamatia, and I was born and raised in a traditional village in Crete, where food, family, and hospitality have always been at the heart of everyday life. From a young age, I learned authentic Cretan recipes, cheese making, and local culinary traditions from my parents and grandparents. Today, I love sharing these treasured traditions with visitors from around the world, welcoming them into my home as friends rather than guests. Through cooking, storytelling, and genuine Cretan hospitality, I offer an authentic glimpse into the culture, flavors, and way of life that make Crete so special.

A Warm Welcome and a Memorable Cretan Cooking Experience

A very interesting experience, but the most important thing is Stamatia's kindness and the welcome we received when we arrived at her home. We also ate all the dishes we prepared with complimentary wine. Definitely worth repeating.

More Than a Cooking Class – A Genuine Cretan Experience

My wife Conny and I participated in this wonderful Cretan cooking course. During our stay in Crete, we wanted to experience something authentic that would show us the island's true character – and that's exactly what we found here. We received a warm welcome upon arrival and immediately felt at ease. Stamatia patiently, passionately, and warmly guided us through the world of Cretan cuisine. Particularly impressive. We were treated to traditional cheese making, tasting high-quality olive oil, and many interesting stories about life and traditions in Crete. Everything was done in a relaxed, family-like atmosphere, so we not only learned a lot but also enjoyed every minute. The meal we shared at the end was a real highlight - fresh, delicious and prepared with lots of love. For us, this was far more than a Cooking class. It was an encounter with Cretan culture, its people, and their renowned hospitality. We would repeat this experience anytime and can wholeheartedly recommend it to every visitor to Crete. A True Taste of Cretan Hospitality and Tradition

My name is Hilde, and together with my husband, we participated in this wonderful workshop during our vacation in Crete. We are from Belgium and were looking for an authentic experience beyond the typical tourist activities. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcome, as if we were part of the family. We received a warm welcome from her upon arrival. With enthusiasm, passion and patience, she guided us through Cretan cuisine. In a relaxed and family-like atmosphere, we learned a lot of interesting things, and of course we also lent a hand ourselves when cooking together. We enjoyed it until the very last minute. The meal we shared at the end was a real highlight; everything was fresh, delicious, and prepared with love.
