The staff was really nice, helpful and explained everything really well. It will be in my memory for a long time, definitely more than worth it.

Lots of different types of wood to choose from, each with its own purpose and meaning. The instructions for every stage of the chopstick-making process were clear and easy to follow. Even got some recommendations of where to go for dinner whilst we are on holiday in Tokyo! Very good English speaking staff. Would definitely recommend!

I didn’t expect a chopstick-making class to be a highlight of my Japan trip, but it genuinely was. Using a hand plane to shape a wooden dowel into a tapered pair of chopsticks sounds simple—and it is—but it’s satisfying to walk away with something beautiful you made yourself. Our instructor was patient and knowledgeable. Calm, hands-on, and you leave with a real keepsake. Highly recommend.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Come in a family group, pick the type of wood to make chopsticks. One pattern and color nice, one good smell. We shape the wood stick we choose then use the sand paper to fine it. Then coat with oil. So proud of ourselves making our own chopsticks, highly recommend fun activities for families:)

This was my first ever experience in chopsticks making, and honestly it was amazing! The staffs here are all really nice and supportive! Momoka was the one in charge of my group and she was so sweet and even helped us figure out our names in Kanji!

The activity was fun, engaging, and something truly unique to take home as a memory. A special thanks to the instructor Haruki, who guided us throughout the whole process. He was incredibly friendly, patient, and made the experience even more enjoyable with his positive attitude and great sense of humor. We had a wonderful time working together, learning something new, and sharing many laughs along the way. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a fun and memorable activity!

He was able to walk us through the process of making our own chopsticks with our two children. He was very kind and wonderful to work with and help us with our Japanese! Highly recommend the experience with kids and adults alike makes for a great momento and a great memory as we leave to head back to Canada.

Our family of 5 did it together. There are only 4 tools so we needed to share. It was an interesting learning about the different wood. Only 1 wood Is included in the price. It is very convenient to Osaka train station. It is extremely easy if you follow the walking directions they give you. It is on the 3rd floor without an elevator or escalator. I sprained my ankle that morning and had to walk up slowly, then I walked down the stairs backwards. But it was worth it.

The parents had a great time too—especially since they offered sake during the experience, which made it even more enjoyable! The staff were incredibly friendly, patient, and engaging throughout the class, making everyone feel welcome. They all spoke excellent English, which made the instructions easy to follow and allowed us to fully enjoy the experience without any language barriers. This was one of our favorite activities in Osaka, and we highly recommend it to families, couples, or anyone looking for a fun and memorable cultural experience. We left with handmade souvenirs and wonderful memories!

Harry was a very helpful instructor! I wish I had a little more time to perfect my chopsticks, but they still came out pretty good. I would definitely come here again! :)

This matcha making experience was amazing! Fujiko was an amazing teacher, I learned so much about sencha, matcha, and tea ceremonies and enjoyed the company of a lovely Malaysian family! I highly recommend this class to experience Japanese culture and some good matcha and Japanese sweets!
