Is it worth doing a cooking class in Phang Nga?

Phang-Nga is a province in southern Thailand, bordering the Andaman Sea on the west coast of the Malay Peninsula. Phang-Nga Bay, in southern Ao Phang-Nga National Park, is distinguished by its tall limestone rock-like islets. One of the islets, Khao Phing Kan, is known for a 20m-tall rock called Ko Tapu, or James Bond Island, which is featured in the film “The Man with the Golden Gun.”

"Very enjoyable"

We chose this class as it seemed to offer more than just cookery.. with a visit to a large local market on route, a museum and ending at a lovely viewpoint. The lessons were straightforward, all the ingredients were ready weighed/sorted for you, all you had to do was follow the instructions to produce lovely Thai food. I would recommend this trip for those who want to see more of the authentic Thailand rather than just go to a cooking class.
