Mein Mann und ich hatten dieses Erlebnis als krönenden Abschluss unserer Romreise geplant. Es hat unsere Erwartungen nicht nur erfüllt, sondern übertroffen. Alessandro und seine Praktikantin Benedicta waren beide charmant und kompetent. Das Essen war köstlich und die Weine waren perfekt auf jeden Gang abgestimmt. Jede Weinbegleitung war sorgfältig ausgewählt, und Alessandro teilte sein umfassendes Weinwissen mit uns. Da wir nur zu viert waren, konnten wir uns angeregt unterhalten und all unsere Fragen stellen. Es war wirklich ein unvergessliches Erlebnis.

Wir hatten das Glück, mit einem überaus liebenswerten italienischen Paar zu Abend zu essen, und unser Gastgeber war einfach fantastisch. Er wechselte mühelos zwischen Englisch und Italienisch, sodass wir uns während des Essens angeregt unterhalten konnten.

Wir, eine vierköpfige Familie, hatten ein unvergessliches Erlebnis in einer kleinen Gruppe mit Federica. Zuerst bereiteten wir die Basis für unser Gelato zu und arbeiteten uns dann durch das Tiramisu-Rezept ihrer Großmutter. Federica erklärte jeden Schritt detailliert und erläuterte die Geschichte und Bedeutung des Namens „Tiramisu“ sowie die Notwendigkeit der einzelnen Zutaten und deren genaue Reihenfolge. Dank ihrer geduldigen Anleitung schmeckte unser Tiramisu besser als alles, was wir je zuvor (oder danach) gegessen hatten. Während das Tiramisu im Ofen war, genossen wir das frisch zubereitete und gefrorene Gelato – leicht und erfrischend! Der Kurs fand im hinteren Bereich eines echten Cafés statt, mit eigener Theke, Spüle, Eismaschine, Backofen und allen nötigen Geräten. Dies war eines unserer schönsten Familienerlebnisse, das uns für immer in Erinnerung bleiben wird. Ach ja, der Kaffee im Café war auch ziemlich gut!

Diese Tour war eine absolut perfekte Einführung in die Küche und die Stadt Rom. Unser Reiseleiter Luca war einfach außergewöhnlich! Das Essen, das wir probiert haben, war vielfältig und köstlich, und das Tempo der Tour war perfekt. Wir hatten zwei Kinder dabei, und es gab an jedem Stopp etwas Passendes für sie. Luca war witzig, unterhaltsam, informativ, hilfsbereit und überaus freundlich. Ich kann diese Tour und Luca als Reiseleiter wärmstens empfehlen!

Diese Tour ist ein absolutes Muss bei einem Rom-Besuch. Sie genießen nicht nur eine Fülle köstlicher römischer Spezialitäten in erstklassigen Restaurants, sondern erkunden auch verschiedene Viertel Roms aus historischer und moderner Perspektive. Marica ist eine fantastische Reiseleiterin, die das Erlebnis unvergesslich gemacht hat.

Was für ein fantastisches Erlebnis! Sylvia war eine hervorragende Reiseleiterin und der Koch ein echter Schatz! Wir hatten einen Riesenspaß und die Zeit mit Sylvia und dem Koch war wie ein Treffen mit Freunden. Tolle Gespräche, absolut empfehlenswert!

Wir hatten das große Glück, Federica, unsere fantastische, freundliche und kompetente Reiseleiterin, ganz für uns allein zu haben, und die gesamte Tour war einfach magisch. Die Informationen über die Monti-Region in Kombination mit den Pizza-Tipps haben uns ein ganz besonderes Gefühl gegeben und uns sehr gefreut, dass wir gebucht hatten. Pizza Romana ist zweifellos unschlagbar. Der krönende Abschluss dieser großartigen Tour mit echtem Gelato war das i-Tüpfelchen! Vielen Dank nochmal, Federica – wir waren beide begeistert!

Giulia war großartig! Sie führte uns zu verschiedenen Orten und erklärte uns die Unterschiede und Grundlagen der italienischen Kaffeekultur. Sie beantwortete alle unsere Fragen und war eine hervorragende Reiseleiterin!

The instructor was knowledgeable, passionate and fun. We learned both the history of Tiramisu and made pear gelato and tiramisu from scratch that was divine. We are back from our vacation and planning to make gelato today and tiramisu for New Year's Eve.

Anastasia led us through the Monti neighborhood on a wonderful pizza adventure. We tried three different types of pizza with three flavors of each. Our favorite was the fried pizza but the Roman style was delightful as well. Our guide was such a pleasure and was kind enough to make many other recommendations that were amazing in Rome. Highly recommend.

Don't miss this memorable evening and wine education. All was excellent including our guide. Great time to making new friends in a wonderful atmosphere .

Federica was wonderful. She is warm, charming and very knowledgeable about the nuances of making gelato and tiramisu. I am almost 80 years old and had a great time and learned a lot. Thank you

Alessandro was an in incredible guide who taught us so much about pairing wines and the distinct areas of Italy each came from. The food was perfect. Loved our experience and made our trip all the more memorable.

All of the experience was phenomenal! The personable staff and wonderful food were the best experience in Italy so far! My friends and I cannot recommend this experience enough- between the helpful hints in our food ventures (or misadventurous turns) and the laughs shared over seemingly endless wine, the time will remain to be my highlight in Italy!

WOW - this cooking class was so fun! We highly recommend it for a unique experience while in Rome. There were a lot of laughs and of course, there was wine to enjoy while you cook. Don't miss the chance to join the chef in the kitchen when the meal comes together!

Overall we really enjoyed the tour. It was a nice break from more intense sightseeing in the hot sun. Walking was easy and the desserts were tasty. Never had granita before and really liked it. Tour guide was very friendly, knowledgeable, and a lot of fun to chat with. Company was very nice to deal with when making our reservations and they accommodated a few special food restrictions with no problems. Would have liked some “behind the scenes” access to be included as part of the tour.

I really enjoyed this dinner and wine pairing. I learned a lot. The host was extremely friendly and educated. The food was excellent and the restaurant was beautiful. I would do this again

What better way to push through jetlag than with an espresso tour?! The espresso and food were delicious and the tour guide was extremely knowledgeable about not only the tasting experience, but in offering us helpful tidbits about the city. She taught us how to order espresso (a process I didn't realize would be so different from the U.S.!); that there were 2500 fountains all around Rome that offered free, clean drinking water; and relayed interesting cultural backstory about the statues and piazzas we passed. This guidance helped make our experience throughout the week so much smoother and more pleasant than it would have been. We ended up getting to try espresso prepared three different ways, two kinds of gelato, and a tiramisu. Our guide was so accommodating: The tiramisu place had sold out of it by the time we got there and she quickly ordered us tiramisu-espresso (bonus!) and booked us at another shop that made excellent tiramisu as well. Friendly, exciting, tasty way to start the week!

We had a private tour with Daniela. Daniela was the BEST! So energetic and fun. She was knowledgeable about Art History and the Caravaggio wine tour was very interesting! Great night with Daniela. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing time with Daniela and other lovely people. An intimate situation for a time travelling with a good glass of wine in hand ! Caravaggio has no secrets for us anymore and we can't wait to have another experience with our host ! We highly recommend this tour to anyone who enjoys a good wine tasting in a cozy environment while learning about a massive piece of Italian artistic history.

We had a really wonderful time, meeting awfully nice people who made us feel welcome at once. The wine was very tastefully and we learned a lot about Caravaggio, his life and the time he lived in. Also the location was really fabulous. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in wine, culture and meeting other people and we'd definitely book a tour again, when being in Rome.
