Die perfekte Gelegenheit, die Menschen und die Küche dieser Region kennenzulernen. Teresa und ihre Familie haben uns herzlich aufgenommen und uns gleichzeitig beigebracht, köstliche Gerichte zuzubereiten. Ich kann diese Erfahrung nur wärmstens empfehlen! Unbedingt ausprobieren!
Wir wurden herzlich empfangen. Zuerst durften wir Obst und Gemüse aus ihrem Garten pflücken und dann in der Küche selbst mit anpacken. Es war ein authentisches italienisches Kocherlebnis (denn es war so viel mehr als nur ein Kochkurs) und wir aßen anschließend wie Freunde zu Mittag. Ein großes Dankeschön an Teresa, Gerardo und Alessandro, dass wir bei ihnen zu Hause sein und einen Tag lang Teil ihrer Familie sein durften.
Es war eines der schönsten Erlebnisse unseres Italienurlaubs. Der Bauernhof steckt voller Geschichten und köstlichem Obst und Gemüse. Teresa und ihre Familie sind so charmant und herzlich; wir haben uns sofort wie zu Hause gefühlt. Wer Luxus sucht, ist hier falsch. Wer aber ein authentisches Erlebnis sucht, vor allem mit Liebe zur traditionellen Familienküche, ist hier genau richtig. Meine achtjährigen Kinder waren begeistert. Eine wunderschöne Erinnerung, die uns noch lange begleiten wird.
Meine Frau und ich verbrachten einen wunderschönen Tag mit Teresa und Gerardo auf ihrem Bauernhof La Tana del Riccio in Benevento, was so viel wie „Die Igelhöhle“ bedeutet. Wenn Sie dort einmal hinfahren, fragen Sie sie unbedingt nach der lustigen Geschichte hinter dem Namen! Teresa führte uns durch den Garten und den Hühnerstall, um Eier und Gemüse zu sammeln, aus denen wir ein wahres Festmahl zubereiteten. Im Laufe des Tages kreierten wir Montanarine Fritte, eine einfache, aber köstliche Vorspeise aus frittiertem Pizzateig und Tomaten, Lasagne mit Zucchini und Zucchiniblüten, eine Schweinefilet-Tajine und eine Pflaumen-Crostata. Wir kochten die Pasta zusammen mit Teresa, die uns mit ihren fachkundigen Tipps und Anleitungen zur authentischen italienischen Küche zur Seite stand. Am Ende des Essens waren wir pappsatt, aber es hat sich absolut gelohnt! Es war ein tolles Erlebnis, und wenn Sie eine Reise in die Gegend um Neapel planen, kann ich es Ihnen wärmstens empfehlen.
We were treated like family. The hosts were excellent and we had great food as well as conversation. I would highly recommend the class to people who would want an exceptional local experience.
We’ve had such wonderful afternoon and an authentic experience at La Tana del Riccio. Teresa and her family were very welcoming and great hosts to us…. It was just the two of us and they still made such an effort to show us the farm and how to make several dishes which were all very delicious! Having these for dinner with Teresa and Gerardo and tasting some wine from the neighbors made the evening perfect for us! We would definitely recommend this course to all that want to learn about the food and the people from Campania.. away from all mainstream!
My husband and I were looking to get an authentic Italian cooking cuisine and Teresa’s class was jut it and even more! The cooking class take place in Teresa and her husband lovely farm house, they gave us a tour in the house and their surrounding and it was just beautiful to see all the animals. We made cheese from freshly milked milk and it was an amazing experience. The food was excellent with all fresh ingredients. We talked with Teresa and her husband for hours and really felt that they opened their home and heart for us. Would highly recommend!
Teresa is clearly a passionate and excellent cook! Her unique lasagne was absolutely delicious, the pork dish sublime and everything else was awesome. We had a lovely lunch and a really great and interesting time. I am certainly going to try and recreate the lasagne!!!!! Incredible!
I attended an authentic Italian cooking class here with Teresa and her family. It was the perfect day! We picked all of the fruits, vegetables and herbs from her garden, where she had home grown them with her lovely husband. I requested a vegan menu and Teresa was happy to accommodate my requirements. :-) We made various bruschetta toppings...they melt in your mouth! Then gnocchi from scratch, with 2 different sauces...the lemon & courgette one was my absolute favourite! Also, various vegetable dishes cooked with her own olive oil. And a scrumptious chocolate desert. I've been home a month now and have really enjoyed using the recipes and techniques that Teresa taught me, in many of my meals...the flavours have revolutionised my cooking! I'd highly recommend a course with Teresa...she's really flexible with the meals she teaches...before you arrive, let her know what meals you want to make and learn and she'll do everything she can to help...her recommendations are excellent! I saw that she also has some lovely rooms that she runs as a B&B...it's such a peaceful and welcoming place...I'd recommend stopping overnight if you were to do a course...so you can enjoy the garden, the relaxing and the authentic Italian home cooking for a bit longer :-) Thank you Teresa and family, I'd love to visit you again on my next visit. La Tana del Riccio is the result of a dream of Gerardo and I (Teresa). Both retired, we have built the house following the farmhouse style of the Benevento area. We have always been sharing our passion for food and cooking with our friends and with this house, we just felt the need to share it with more people as possible. Spending time with us will be like stepping in our daily life made of organic production, never-ending cooking session and laugh loads of laughs.
The house is located in Valle Telesina, fertile land where it grows the mela (apple) Annurca an IGP product. We choose this area for its richness of local traditions and quality local produce
