Hi there, my name is Suthida, but everyone calls me by my nickname "Chef Aey".

My mother, who was a chef for 45 years, taught me the secrets of her Thai cooking. I used to own a restaurant and I have been working abroad for 2 years as a cook and manager of a Thai restaurant in Brazil.

Back in Thailand I have been teaching cooking for many years. I'm proud to share my experience and Thai recipes that were passed down generation to generation with people from around the world who are passionate about food and cooking.

My name is Suthida Phakdithai, nick name “Aey”. I graduated in Home Economics. I have always loved my mother's specialty. She is a chef for 45 years. The family business is selling foods and dessert. I own a restaurant and I have been working abroad for 2 years as a cook and manager of Thai restaurants in Brazil. I like to eat many different kinds of foods and think how is it made, why is there such a taste etc. It has become my motivation to cook plus the experience comes from my mother and family. I have been teaching for many years. I want to share the experience to other people that will be passed on from generation to generation. That makes me proud of the root in Thai cuisine and my students will get the best information on my class. First priority: My students will have a good quality to learn real Thai cuisine and enjoy to cook as you are in your house. Slogan: Quality is not focused on quantity.

8:50 am: Pick up at the meeting point at Subway (MRT) Huai Khwang Station Exit 3.
9:00 am: Time for the market tour.
9:30 am: Back to our house. Learn about different types of rice and how to cook glutinous rice. You will also learn how to make coconut milk.
10:20 am: Start cooking.
1:30 pm: End of the class.

Just amazing! An absolute must-do!

What a wonderful day we spent with Chef Aey, learning to cook the most incredibly delicious Thaï specialties! After taking us for a tour at the local market, we were introduced to the secrets of Thai cuisine and then prepared an absolutely delicious 4-course meal. Chef Aey is such a warm, kind, witty and authentic person. This was the highlight of my visit to Bangkok! You cannot come to Bangkok without taking a cooking class with Chef Aey! An absolute must-do! Thank you so much Chef Aey!

Highlight of our holiday so good!

We loved our class with Aey. She is a great lady, good teacher and fun. We went to the market with her first and i would absolutely recommend that it takes your class to another level. We cooked and ate at her house, outside for the cooking (in the shade) inside for the eating and lessons (aircon) She took her time and so did we. Best is that you are not in a hurry because then you will learn so much more! The dishes we coocked were delicious! We discussed with her before what we would like to learn. It was a brilliant day thanks to her. Do not look any further because this is absolutely all you could possibly need!

The class was perfect. Chef was very passionate, talkative and helpful. Learned a lot! And even saw authentic thai home with cute pets :) If you want to learn something and spend an amazing day, choose this one :) 10/10

An Unforgettable Thai Cooking Experience - 11/10!

We had an absolutely fantastic time at this Thai cooking class! There were four of us in the group, and it felt like a truly personal and immersive experience from start to finish. The day began with a visit to the local market, where we picked out the freshest ingredients for our dishes. Our host, who was so warm and welcoming, took the time to explain every ingredient, its role in Thai cuisine, and even offered alternatives for some harder-to-find items. It was clear that she has a deep passion for her work, and her enthusiasm was contagious. She made the whole experience fun, educational, and incredibly engaging! After shopping, we headed to her beautiful home where the cooking took place. The setting was intimate and inviting, allowing us to feel right at home. We learned how to make several traditional Thai dishes, and the food was absolutely delicious! Every dish we created was bursting with flavor, and the entire experience was one we’ll cherish. Authentic Thai kitchen and a great day

We had a great day with Aey: she picked us up at the mrt station and we went to a market where we had the opportunity to try new things and get to know an important part of the Thai culture. At home she told us many things about the Thai kitchen and how to use the ingredients. As it was only the two of us, it was a private atmosphere we really appreciated! It was informative but especially a good mix between cooking, talking and making jokes :) Aey is a lovely person, we completely recommend the cooking class! Thanks Aey!!!
