Learn how to make Biang Biang noodles, one of China's most famous noodles and an iconic dish from Xi'An. 

First, we'll head to a traditional spice market to discover local spices and ingredients that you'll cook with during your cooking class.

Then it's time for your hands-on cooking class! Under the guidance of a professional chef, you'll learn how to make Chinese Biang Biang noodles from scratch. The secret is to pull the noodles into long and broad shapes in order to get the deliciously chewy texture.

The class will be carried out in a professional cooking school and a famous local restaurant. You’ll be treated with Chinese tea as it’s the local custom to treat friends and visitors, as well as beers and other non-alcoholic beverages.

We welcome families to this cooking class and market tour — and this experience is free for children under 5.

Morning Class:

• 09:00 am: Meet your guide at the meeting point
• 09:10 am: Visit the local spice market and discover local ingredients or spices that will be used in the cooking class
• 10:30 am: Back to the cooking class venue (a traditional Chinese courtyard)
• 10:10 am: Tea break with Sichuan Gaiwan tea
• 10:30 am: Learn how to cook with a professional chef
• 12:00 pm: Enjoy the dishes that cooked by yourself with some beers or beverages

Afternoon Class:

• 2:00 pm: Meet your guide at the meeting point
• 2:00 pm: Visit the local spice market and discover local ingredients or spices that will be used in the cooking class
• 3:00 pm: Back to the cooking class venue (a traditional Chinese courtyard)
• 3:10 pm: Tea break with Sichuan Gaiwan tea
• 3:30 pm: Learn how to cook with a professional chef
• 6:00 pm: Enjoy the dishes that cooked by yourself with some beers or beverages
