This hands-on activity is perfect to experience Vietnamese cuisine and cooking through our half-day cooking program with a market tour and fishing from a bamboo boat.
First, we will go to the hustling and bustling local market where we will have a chance to see and experience all the movement and noise of the market as well as interact directly with the sellers. Then we will transfer to Cam Thanh village where you will learn how to ride a bamboo boat. The tour guide will also show you how to catch fish by rods and catch “purple crabs” with a special net.
Next, we will paddle inside the water coco palm forest to see the coconut trees growing together and get coconut water directly from the fruit. Finally, we will finish the eco trip at our cooking school where our local chef will lead the cooking class. While cooking, you will learn how to make rice paper for the spring rolls in the traditional style, a truly unique experience. The class ends with you enjoying all the dishes you prepared during the class.
Children under 7 years old are free! They will have the opportunity to make simple things only.
