This activity is unique because it combines our hidden rice fields trekking experience with an incredible cooking class!

Our East Bali village trekking tour will bring you on a trekking adventure into the local Balinese residence area and walk into rice paddy fields in East Bali. You will enjoy the sounds and sights of nature at its best. Moreover, you can stop along the way to chat with locals and farmers amid their daily routines.

Luckily, some funny local children will greet you and wave to you. The children are very friendly and welcome the tourists. Besides, you could meet many warm Balinese during the trekking. The guide will explain all facets of the life of the Balinese living.

Following the trek, we'll escort you to our traditional Balinese home, where you'll partake in a delightful cooking class to delve into the secrets of Balinese cuisine. Accompanied by our resident chef, you'll discover fundamental cooking methods at the resort's outdoor kitchen.

Once the cooking session concludes, we'll all gather to savor a shared lunch of authentic Balinese dishes, providing an opportunity to immerse yourself in the culture and feel a true sense of being Balinese. This experience aims to make your holiday in Bali an unforgettable and culturally enriching journey.

• Sate lilit ikan ( finely ground fish grilled on lemon grass spear )
• Pepes Ikan ( Grilled fish in Banana leaf )
• Chicken satay
• Tum Be Siap ( Chicken Marinated in Balinese spicy and steamed in Banana Leaf )
• Tempe Goreng Mebase Manis ( Crispy fried Soybean cake with Caramel in Local spicy )
• Jukur Urab Campur ( Balinese Salad with a combination of products from Subak Garden )
• Black Rice Pudding (dessert)

Schedule

• Picking up the participants at the hotel.
• Start of trekking adventure.

• Enjoying a communal meal at lunch.
• End of the class.
• Drop the participants in the hotel. 

We don't have sessions on Sundays, or on Hari Raya Nyepi (Balinese Day of Silence or Balinese New Year).
