The aim of this cooking course is to provide you with general knowledge about Vietnamese food culture, as well as hands-on cooking experiences for you to bring home.
The day will start off with a guided market tour during which our chef will explain how important the market place is in Vietnamese dining culture, and how to pick your ingredients.
You will then go back to the school to be introduced to the herbs & spices and their health benefits. After a short demonstration from our chef, M.D, it will be your turn to start cooking a 4 course meal. It will then be time for you to taste and enjoy what you have prepared.

I spent a wonderful morning at Citronella cooking class. We were able to choose the dishes we would like to cook. I made spring rolls, a morning glory salad and lemongrass chicken, my favorites. The instructor explained us how to adjust the dishes for different kinds of meat or vegetarian versions, very useful information. It was a very enjoyable morning that I recommend to everyone who travels to Vietnam to experience this by yourself.
