I had an excellent cooking class: a professional team and effective instructors who put me at ease right from the start. The atmosphere was relaxed despite the rigor of the techniques taught. The small group size, limited to about fifteen people, allowed for personalized attention. The environment was impeccable, with a very clean and well-equipped kitchen. The prior visit to the market was particularly informative and enriched the practical experience in the workshop. The icing on the cake was tasting our own creations between each class. If I were ever in the area again, I would gladly take another class.
The food was delicious and the lesson was loads of fun.
Very professional and informative cooking lesson. Very efficient and enjoyable experience from the early morning pick up until the afternoon drop off. I want to learn more and will book to learn another menu next time I am in Hua Hin. Many thanks.
I loved the visit to the market, to discover new products. In the class, I learned technical tips that will help me cook thaï dishes at home.
Very interesting visit to market, small group, good english speaking guide. Easy step by step cooking with detailed recepies.
Thank you for a fabulous day. Great instruction and delicious recipes. Loved the morning market trip. Will do another course.
The visit to the market before the cooking lessons was perfect. Lots of explanations, very interesting to see. Food preparation was well instructed. Everything was perfectly organized and well executed. Cleanliness was of the utmost importance and the group that we cooked with was very easy-going. The instructor was very lively and fun to work with.
An unforgettable Thai cooking class! The instructor was amazing—so skilled and kind, with great support from her team!
Enjoyed the cultural experience of the markets shopping and learning about the ingredients needed for our dishes. The guides and instructors were very informative and engaging in their quest to ensure our cultural experience was a success.
I had a great time, and the hosts were incredibly friendly and welcoming. the food was great. i had a lot of fun, grazie! Saluti Federico
Great team and very funny top food
This experience was totally beyond expectations. Pickup was right on time. The tour around the market was most interesting, great explanations of what we were looking at. The cooking was so much fun, very well organized and we were so impressed with our culinary talent (but it was probably the well laid out instruction that got us there). Rideback much appreciated.
A really fun cooking class. Highly recommended.
Nice staff, friendly. Food selection was very good. I was expensive....
I loved the staff... the owner... The way of doing.. the gentleness... thank you so much
In a cooking class in Hua Hin you’ll usually learn how to make classic Thai favorites like Pad Thai, Tom Yum Goong, green curry, mango sticky rice, and the region’s famous grilled fish with lime and chili.
Yes, many Hua Hin cooking schools provide vegan, vegetarian, halal and gluten‑free options. They’ll adapt recipes with fresh vegetables, tofu or coconut milk instead of fish or meat.
Classes usually run for 3‑4 hours with 8–12 participants. Most chefs conduct the session in English, and they’ll also give a translated menu or a bilingual handout.
Absolutely. A market tour is often part of the class package. You’ll discover fresh seafood, tropical fruits, spices, and learn how to choose ingredients, read Thai labels and understand the local supply chain.
In Thailand it’s customary to remove shoes before entering a kitchen or home. Be respectful of the chef’s techniques, don’t be afraid to ask about spice levels—Thai food can range from mild to extra hot, and you can always request a milder version.
During the monsoon (May–July) classes often feature dishes with coconut milk and fresh herbs like lemongrass and kaffir lime. In April, Songkran festivals bring street‑food‑style cooking, while in November’s Loy Krathong showcase seasonal soups and desserts.
Solo travelers can use the class to meet locals, partners can enjoy a romantic hands‑on cooking experience, and families can bring kids who love making their own Pad Thai or mango sticky rice—most schools offer family‑friendly classes with safe, child‑appropriate tools.
You’ll get to try your hand at Thai kitchen techniques like the ‘pat‑pat’ stir‑fry, learn to make a coconut milk‑based broth from scratch, and use a wooden mortar and pestle or a bamboo steamer—these tools and techniques give the class a truly authentic feel.
