We had a wonderful few hours with chao (think that’s the spelling?? Apologies if wrong) we went to the markets and learnt loads about different vegetable and meats and noodles. Then back to the Hutong for cooking. We were in his home which was so lovely. Even had a gorgeous dog there. Cooked up 3 dishes, all were amazing. He made it a fun and enjoyable day and I would recommend this to anyone looking for a cooking class in Beijing. Incredibly enjoyable day.
Amazing chef!! Great food! My best experience at China by far!
This was a great time I love how the chef explains everything and the organization. For sure I will do this curse again!!
This was a fantastic experience -- the instructor was extremely knowledgeable, patient, and gracious. He has a deep understanding and enthusiasm for Chinese cooking, and he really conveyed that. I have taken several cooking classes in Beijing and this one was really special -- I would definitely take another class here!
We make it from scratch, everything was super clean and very good location
I loved joining the class. Atmosphere and learning curve are fantastic. Would recommend for everyone to join.
I took a Guangdong cuisine class. First, the place was lovely and it was very easy to find, close to the center of Dongcheng district. Teacher was very kind and helpful, the ingredients were fresh and the recipe was delicious. We made 4 dishes and had these for the lunch with steamed rice! I took this on the second day of my trip and it made me happy for the rest of my journey. I hope that I can take Dumpling class next time I visit Beijing!
Im very happy with this cooking class. Very Friendly and Good Food!
Very hands-on and informative class! The cooking teacher Sophia is explains everything in detail and speaks perfectly English, which made it really easy to follow the instructions. The hand pulled noodle making was quite fun and cae out pretty well! We also got to work on our knife skills a bit. Overall a great class to learn how to make hand-pulled noodles. You’ll definitely leave with a new set of cooking skills!
