In this experience, I will take you to the best Izakaya (Japanese bar and restaurant), standing bars, or chicken skewer bars in Shinjuku, a neighborhood in Tokyo that is a city in itself. The places we will go are the bars and restaurants patronized by locals. They serve terrifically delicious Japanese dishes that we'll wash down with beer, Japanese sake, and other types of booze. We will visit two or three of these depending on time.
Next, we will walk you through the red-light district called Kabuki-cho. This is one of the biggest nightlife areas in Japan. After this, we will head to the main bar district where there are over 200 bars to check out. This area is famous for its time-period subcultures which are located in buildings that depict the different time-period themes. We will visit one or two of the bars in this area. You will have the opportunity to continue bar hopping after the tour ends. It's your chance to explore the rest of the 200 bars!

Monday - Thursday
- 6:00 pm: Meet at the meeting point in Shinjuku, Tokyo
- 6:10 pm: Arrive at the first restaurants and enjoy Japanese local foods
- 7:00 pm: Move to the standing bar (10 minutes walk)
- 8:00 pm: Walk around Shinjuku and introduce Japanese nightlife and food culture
- 8:30 pm: Enjoying Japanese local drinks in the bar
- 9:00 pm: Direct the guests to Shinjuku station
Friday - Saturday
- 5:00 pm: Meet at the meeting point in Shinjuku, Tokyo
- 5:10 pm: Arrive at the first restaurants and enjoy Japanese local foods
- 6:00 pm: Move to the standing bar (10 minutes walk)
- 7:00 pm: Walk around Shinjuku and introduce Japanese nightlife and food culture
- 7:30 pm: Enjoying Japanese local drinks in the bar
- 8:00 pm: Direct the guests to Shinjuku station
