The Mayan culture was one of the most important cultures in Mesoamerica, along with the Mexica (Aztecs), Toltec, Zapotec and Mixtec. They had very particular flavors that are still present in the cuisine of the region, and it is worth having their own cooking workshop.

There are recipes that we continue to prepare and eat nowadays that represent pre-hispanic dishes.

Chef Dussan will take you through a time travel and you will learn ancient techniques from the Yucatan Peninsula.

• Cochinita Pibil (slow roasted pork dish)
• Panuchos (made with corn masa)
• Sopa de Lima (lime soup with chicken)

Programme

Afternoon Class (Tuesday and Thursday)

• 3:00 pm: Meeting at the school to start cooking
• 6:00 pm: End of cooking class time to enjoy your dish
• 7:00 pm: End of workshop
