Descrizione
In this course, you will learn not only how to make Sushi also make traditional Japanese Dashi (soup stock) which supports wide variety of Japanese dishes.
In addition, you will make rolled eggs for egg sushi, too!
- Step 1: Learn about the history of Sushi and Japanese food culture
- Step 2: Prepare Sushi Rice
- Step 3: Learn about how to make traditional Japanese stock and Miso soup
- Step 4: Making Yakitori
- Step 5: Make Nigiri Sushi, Gunkan Maki, and Maki Sushi
- Step 6: Place the dishes, along with chopsticks
Let’s say “Itadakimasu”, then enjoy eating!

- 5:50 pm: Japanese broth and Miso soup
- 6:10 pm: Rolled omelet
- 6:30 pm: Yakitori (chicken)
- 6:40 pm: 3 kinds of sushi
- 7:30 pm: Tasting
- 8:00 pm: End of the cooking class

Fun night in Osaka
The Sakura Cook team were so great! The hosts, food, and experience were all excellent. Definitely suggest them for a fun time in Osaka.

Fun and a great value
My husband and I had a great time learning to make sushi with Fumi! She warmly welcomed us into her home for the class, was friendly and well prepared. We felt the class was unique from others as it combines sushi with miso soup and yakitori - we were both stuffed by the end of it! It was well executed and we were happy to finally learn how to make one of our favorite foods! Would certainly recommend Fumi and Sakura Cooks for this class!

Wonderful
We had a ton of fun and learned so much during our cooking class. It was also some of the best sushi we ate during our 3 weeks in Japan. Would definately reccomend.

Enjoyable, Educational, Delicious !
The owner and instructor is very kind and pleasant. Her instruction was thorough, explaining why you do or do not do things, which was really appreciated. The sashimi fish was good quality and the meal we made was very filling. The recipes and photos to take home was the cherry on top. We enjoyed the experience! Fumi’s English is excellent.
