My family very much enjoyed the session by Yaka-san! She was so nice and explained everything so well! We were able to take the recipes home with us and my 14-year-old nephew is going to show off his new Japanese cooking skills!

We prepared and cooked beef, eggs, salmon, rice, and soup. Lulu and her assistants were very friendly. It was a fun family experience.

If you want to learn how to make authentic sushi, this is the place to go to! very warm, nice, and welcoming. I learned many information about sushi.

We absolutely loved the class! Chisato said it was her 1st class teaching foreigners but she did an amazing job! We learned all kinds of methods to make cute Totoro Bento. They also told us where we can buy the ingredients so we can try to make at home. We forgot our umbrellas and they quickly contacted us and offered to bring our umbrellas to our hotel. We told them it was not needed. but wasn't that so thoughtful and nice! Highly recommend the class!!

Easy menu for my kids and husbands to make. Our menu was chicken teriyaki, rice balls, egg omelette roll, and miso soup. They were so accommodating that they prepare meat-free and dairy-free option for us. We all enjoyed learning a new healthy way of cooking without added oil enjoyed the fruit of our labor.

My two teenage daughters and I took this class and had a wonderful time. It was a good change of pace for a morning, we had fun and learned skills we can use at home. Masuko was a great teacher, patient and kind and definitely included all of us! She was able to adapt the menu to exclude red meat which we appreciated. We made dashi, miso soup, tamagoyaki (omelette ) rice balls seasoned with baby sardine sauce, grilled marinated salmon and fish and asparagus rolls( usually beef). It made for a delicious hearty lunch. Masuko gave us detailed recipe print outs with both writing and photographs . She also told us lots of extra information about techniques, ingredients and equipment - including where to get them in Tokyo. Overall an experience we’d highly recommend.

I had the best time of my life! Luckily I was all by myself and got an exclusive introduction to the world of bento making! It was real fun and would do it again and again! Don’t miss this class when you are in Tōkyō!

One of my unforetable experiences in Tokyo. The teachers were all very friendly and helpful. The character bento was so cute! The only thing I would change is more clear cut instructions on how to find the place. Google maps led me to the other side of the street and the picture of the front door was totally different. It's more accurate to say that the school is in the building facing the main road. The school even goes by a different name to Washocook

Mariko and her staff were so pleasant, so well-spoken and extremely knowledgeable. Our family did this together and it was the perfect level of challenge for all of us. We enjoyed our meal and time with the team.

This is it! This is definitely a gamechanger! We are from Canada and i brought my son with me for the Holidays. We took this class as our activity for the last two days in Japan. I love Japanese food but my son is quite picky eater. But when we started learning this home bento dishes, oh my he became very excited and i am very pleased with the chef. She was so kind and understanding and really creative. I was happy we took this class, i learned a lot. Now i can make Bento creatively at home and my son, surprisingly loved our finished products.

Really nice and kind instructor with detail to be followed, I was lucky enough to have a class in Kamakura area in traditional Japanese house, and there were many assistant to help almost 1:1, and Charabento may look difficult at first but if you follow the instruction you will find it very easy to do and fun... We really had a great time there like making friends. Highly recommend it...

This was a good experience in the heart of Tokyo. As it is near so many other sites, it is easily incorporated into a larger itinerary or as a stand alone activity.

Had so much fun!! They were very kind and understood my religion belief and provided substitutes for anything I do not eat. The class was fun and I enjoyed so much! Would definitely recommend it.

We had a hard time to get to the class via the adress (Google Maps doesn't know it). Lucky the description from Noriko-san was good. We were 15 minutes late - so sorry. They waited for us. It was a mixed class with people from 4 different countries. The bento making itself was nice. We made everything ourselve step by step. The result was so cute! At the end we ate the bento together.

The class was great. We learned a lot about everyday cooking.

We had so much fun! Teachers were so nice, kind and patient. Instructions were always clear and teachers perfectly know how to explain and make it fun. We shared a really nice moment together and definitely recommend to anyone traveling in Japan to enjoy this cooking class.

must try when you visit Tokyo... Noriko was very friendly and very detailed when she explained the cooking class... she also gave tips about the ingredients and where to buy them. very recommended and i would love to do another cooking classes next time around.
