Our fully equipped kitchen and cooking stations offers a clean, safe and enjoyable environment. Learn how to select ingredients, prepare, cook and present your own Thai culinary masterpiece. Our team has shared their insights and knowledge of Thai cuisine with thousands of satisfied students over the years.

For each dish you will firstly discuss it, next you will watch a demonstration and then cook your own. Finally you will sit down to enjoy it while it is hot and the process is fresh in your mind. This is the time to make some extra notes and discuss the dish with your classmates.

We like to think that our classes are not only a day of just learning. Of course that is paramount and we take great care to ensure that the workshops we provide are of the highest quality. But we also try to create an informal atmosphere where the day is about fun, meeting new people and is an escape from the hustle and bustle of busy lives.

All dishes in our class have vegetarian and vegan options/versions.

• Making green curry paste
• Kaeng keaw whan gai (green curry with chicken)
• Pad Thai (famous Thai style fried noodle)
• Tom yum goong (4 flavour soup with shrimp)
• Khanom lod chong (thai desert in coconut milk)

Menu #2

• Make red curry paste
• Kaeng ped moo (red curry with pork)
• Som tam (papaya salad)
• Gai pad med mamuang (chicken with cashew nuts)
• Khao niaow ma muang (mango with sticky rice)

Menu #3

• Make penang curry paste
• Gaeng penang gai (penang curry with chicken)
• Laab moo (spicy north-eastern style pork salad)
• Pad krapow gai (stir fried chicken + holy basil)
• Thub tim krob (“Red Rubies Dessert” – water chestnut + coconut)

スケジュール

• 8:40 am – 9:00 am Pickup from Hotel (approximate time – a precise time will be advised during the booking process).
• 9:00 am – 10:00 am Soak up the atmosphere of the bustling Afternoon Market while learning about ingredients and how to choose them. Gain valuable insight into Thai Food Culture via Traditional Thai Markets. Most Thais shop here daily and they are found in pretty much every neighborhood.
• 10:00 am – 10:10 am Arrive at the Cooking School, receive the color Recipe Booklet, and get acquainted with the Instructor & classmates. Help yourself to some hot tea or coffee.
• 10:10 am – 10:40 am Prepare & cut the ingredients to be used for the day. Further learning about Thai ingredients and cutting techniques, alternative uses, and substitutes that can be used.
• 10:40 am – 11:00 am A crash course on Thai Curry Pastes. Students will prepare and pound out a curry paste from scratch. Using a mortar and pestle with fresh ingredients that they have chopped & diced in the previous step.
• 11:00 am – 12:30 pm Time to cook! Work with woks, pots, and various cooking tools as you cook the 4 dishes under the instructor's and her assistants' watchful eyes. Then sit down to enjoy your delicious creations! After cooking each dish sit down to enjoy while it is hot and fresh. Take a moment to make some notes while discussing the fruits of your labor with classmates.
• 12:30 pm – 12:50 pm Certificate Presentation & photo opportunities with the Instructors. Students are welcome to take as many photos as they like throughout the day and we are on hand to help.
• 12:50 pm – 1:20 pm Transportation back to Hotels and/or Meeting points.
