Cookly Originals are curated cooking experiences, where passionate local cooks share traditional recipes and personal stories in intimate, vetted settings.

I’m Lua, a top chef. I've hosted about 3000 guests from around the world for 6 years.

I specialize in authentic and healthy home dishes, with high quality ingredients. I can tailor traditional menus to vegetarian/vegan, gluten-free, lactose-intolerant or special diets, etc.

An experience in my cooking class is not just about cooking and eating home food but also about spending time together to talk, share stories about business, traveling experiences, lifestyle and cultures.

Open everyday and time could be flexible. Please reserve in advance and contact us for your desire schedule.

Morning session: 10:30AM - 1:00PM
Afternoon session: 2:30PM - 5:00PM
Evening session: 6:30PM - 9:00PM

Other things to note
- Market visit to be offer as per request with extra fee ( please contact us if you want market tour)
- Pickup service is NOT offered.
- Cook the same menu together with home-setting (no separate station for each guest).

"Delicious food"

The cooking class was fun, and we prepared delicious food. You cook at Lua’s home. She is very nice and gives great tips! Thank you for the class!

"Absolute Number One Highlight"

Ms Lua’s cooking class was our absolute, number one highlight in Saigon. She was knowledgeable, energetic, and so much fun to hang out with. She could cater to our very different skill levels and still make us feel like a master chef. And of course the food she showed us how to cook was excellent. The view from her apartment was worth it alone. We really recommend you also get on the market tour with her, too - and make sure you leave a nice tip! (Trust us - you’ll want to.)

"Amazing cooking class"

Lua's class was held in an apartment with the most amazing view. She took requests regarding what we wanted to learn and even catered to dietary requirements (vegan and a cashew allergy). 100% recommend for an authentic Vietnamese cooking experience. The food was absolutely delicious!

Was a great class. Awesome to do as a small group in her home, overlooking the city. Made great food, relaxed and was able to talk about the food, culture and life in Vietnam. Was a great afternoon.

Lua was absolutely amazing and really knowledgeable. We also booked the market tour wich is a really cool experience. We went to vietnamese markets before, but without a local, tourist like us are just lost. Overall a great experience!
