Cucina Amica is a cooking school founded by Carmela Caputo, a biologist by profession but a chef by passion and followed by Giorgia Chiatto, whom her mother has passed on culinary discoveries and secrets in order to keep this tradition of love for food preparation alive.
Giorgia is passionate about the history of cooking as well as an expert in "food styling" for the printing industry and author of various cookbooks. Her specialty is sweets! Cucina Amica is a place where we teach the art of cooking, the love for food and where one acquires the ability to combine ancient alchemies with important technical aspects of nutritional science, approaching this world with the pleasure of a game for professionals.
The philosophy of Cucina Amica is to help everyone discover their culinary skills and the artistic side in each of us. The school is open to everyone from beginners to professionals looking for new ideas or specialisations. Furthermore, Cucina Amica shares all the interests that involve food in a very broad cultural sense with debates, tastings of typical local products and expert interventions.
Since 1995 he has been a member of the A.I.C.I., Italian Cooking Teachers Association. We are waiting for you, on the Vomero hill, in Via Solimena, in the splendid setting of an ancient Liberty villa.
