We will use the freshest herbs, vegetables, meat, and seafood purchased from the famous Tra Que Village and its local market. The experience starts with a tour of this market, shopping for the necessary ingredients.

Schedule for the Morning Class:
8:00 am: Your guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel lobby
8:05 am: Take you to the local market nearby for a market tour with the ingredients list in your hand, strolling around with our guide, here you will buy all of the essential ingredients for our class.
9:00 am: On arrival at Mai Home Hoi An Cooking Class & Restaurant in Trà Quế, enjoy a welcome drink made with local herbs.
9:30 am: Stroll around the vegetable garden with your guide to learn the traditional farming ways of growing organic herbs and vegetables with seaweed which is sourced from the nearby river.
11:00 am: We begin cooking some of the famous local dishes such as “Banh Xeo” Pancake, Green Papaya and Banana Salad, “Ram” fried rolls (or Fresh spring rolls), and fish cooked in a clay pot with the guidance of the chef.
12:15 pm: Enjoy your lunch of local specialties and dishes made by yourself, served with steamed rice and dessert made with seasonal tropical fruits.
1:30 pm: After lunch, take a rest.
2:00 pm: Getting back to your Hotel. Tour ends.
