Your lesson was a lot of fun, and I was able to learn a lot about Japanese cuisine, which made it a very meaningful experience. The Nagoya-style dish I made myself had a unique flavor I had never tasted before, and it was delicious. The matcha experience was beautifully presented, and the traditional sweets were both visually stunning and tasty. If I have another chance, I would love to learn more cooking from Grandma.
We would like to thank you for everything! We were really happy to learn new dishes and of course thank you for all the little attentions, and the photos. It is obviously one of our best memories of Japan. Please feel free to drop me an email if you ever need any recommendations if you ever intend to visit Singapore one day.
Thank you so much for having us and teaching us about Washoku. It was very fun, and also very delicious to eat! You put a lot of effort into teaching us about the key ingredients like seasoning and the different varieties. Also, the tea ceremony is a very unique ceremony and it’s good for us to understand the steps involved. Your instructions were really good and watching you do it first was super helpful. If you ever visit Australia one day we would be very happy to have you visit us. We would be glad to show you around.
Our company, Manpyo Ltd., was established in 1961 and has been dedicated to providing carefully selected natural and organic foods. We have supplied trustworthy products to hospitals and natural food stores, always ensuring the quality and integrity of everything we offer. As a certified chef and licensed confectionery hygiene master, I decided to share my passion and knowledge by starting a cooking school in 2002.
The classes focus on healthy sweets and naturally leavened bread, made from wholesome, body-friendly ingredients. Since 2018, I have also been offering traditional Japanese cooking classes for international guests, hoping to share the beauty and depth of Japanese cuisine with people from around the world.
