Beautiful setting. Lovely people. Good teaching (including teaching our kids!) and great food. Highly recommend!
Nona, the expert cook/pasta maker, was so interesting and knowledgeable. We learned a ton from her and the whole place had so much history and beauty! Plus the food we made was amazing!
Our Airbnb host recommended Le Pietre Vive for cooking lessons. Our lesson was with Francesca who was excellent. With the end of the season, it was just my wife and I, and she was excellent working with both our skill levels (my wife well beyond me), was personable and a great teacher. Excellent food and we have since made the dishes upon our return to the US. I would highly recommend this experience and if our meal was anything like what is offered in the restaurant then this would be a must-do. They make their own wine and honey, both of which were excellent. One of the best experiences of our two-week trip through Tuscany. Don't miss it!
So nice with our Italian chef and the English lady who translated, wonderful dishes and so nice to learn to make pasta, mashed potato which are so tasteful, and all the other dishes. and to work with special ingredients like truffles they found that morning and their own saffron honey made it extra special.
A wonderful experience. Chef, Heather, and Francesca made the experience enjoyable. I can’t wait to try the recipes at home.
We took a cooking class from Nona and it was absolutely fabulous. The atmosphere was impressive and the instructions were excellent. Being able to share this experience with others was truly exceptional. We strongly recommend this class
