This walking tour visits 4 seated eateries where you’ll eat over 12 authentic local dishes. Our stops are small, family-run restaurants that prepare their food by hand and serve it fresh, just like they have for generations. The tour ends at a family-friendly local craft beer pub for a drink on us!

- Try a few traditional seafood dishes that are every local’s favorite at a bustling local hangout
- Enter a traditional Shanghai community and be welcomed inside a private home for some of the best homemade food you’ll find in China
- Slurp down the city’s most popular noodle dishes in a hidden local shop that’s been serving the same recipe for decades
- Down a few beers (and water & soft drinks) during the night as we visit each family-friendly location
- Finish the night at a fun & family-friendly pub for a pint of small-batch, locally brewed craft beer
Schedule
- 6:30 pm: Meet your guide at Jing’an Temple Subway Station, Exit 3 Street Level
- 7:00 pm: Try over 12 different dishes while visiting 4 seated, authentic Shanghai restaurants
- 9:00 pm: Visit a family-friendly pub for a pint of locally brewed craft beer
- 10:00 pm: End of the food tour with a full belly
Meeting Point
Meet at Jiashan Road Subway Station, Exit 5, Street Level, we will be upstairs, outside the exit waiting for you.
Please plan your method of travel appropriately and note that traffic during rush hour can take some extra time
- Subway Directions: Jiashan Road Subway Station services lines 9 and 12. Follow signs to Exit 5 and go upstairs. Your guide will be upstairs, outside the exit, waiting for you.
