What I liked: Chef Bagus was the highlight of the cooking class, always making sure that we were involved and having fun.
What to know: Everyone gets a turn to cook but you won’t be cooking every dish.
Good for: People looking to be entertained during a cooking class.

Was good fun and very funny experience. Recommend for anyone in the seminyak area or staying in Bali in general. The chef is amazing at creating a really good team environment which made the class so much better.

"The class was great, food was excellent"
A little frustrated we didn't start on time (40 mins late) and that transfer was only to the event, they don't return you to your hotel.

"NIAS COOKING CLASS BUGUS."
Went here with my my wife. Great chef. Funny and informative. Show lots of different techniques and use of local product and home alternatives. Most ingredients prepared ahead of time to save time and fingers being cut off by inexperienced class. Got to mix most ingredients and see how balance can change by adding this or that. Supplied with recipe book with 12 recipes. Sat down and had lunch feast at end. Good value at $38aus. (5hrs) if you want professional class pay $300 to 500. Great for home chefs. Went back for dinner a few days later and chef Bagus came out of kitchens greeted us and had staff sing welcome song. Do yourself a favour. Try it.

We signed up for the Nia Cooking School on our last day in Bali, and we're so glad we did. Vagus was hilarious, and we learned how to cook 12 Balinese dishes. We loved the market tour and can't wait to cook these recipes when we get home!

"Great day for all sorts"
My partner and I went to this class just before leaving Bali in August and had a really enjoyable time. Learnt lots, the chef was a great personality and met lots of people from around the world. Wish we had had more time to prep or cook the food ourselves but this was probably due to our lack of skills not the course! Would definitely recommend as it was one of the more affordable cooking classes in Seminyak but you didn't feel like you missed out! Thanks Nia's
