Travel through the world of Balinese & Indonesian cooking and learn a beautiful, healthy menu cooked with fresh ingredients, perfect for any season. Think of gorgeous, delicious, exotic, fragrant, fresh herb-flavoured dishes with sweet & sour flavours to delight your family and friends.

Our philosophy regarding preparing and cooking food in our class is simple. We believe hands-on training in the kitchen is the best way to learn how to cook.

Schedule

8:00 am: Pick up from your Hotel or Villa with air-conditioned transport* please check included and excluded area
8:30 am: Traditional market visit
9:30 am: Arrived at the cooking school, our home.
9:35 am: Local Balinese breakfast with coffee or tea and cold towel is served
9:45 am: Herb and spice lecture
10:00 am: Hands-on cooking lesson and recipe booklet to take home
12:45 pm: Lunch, we will serve your own cooking at our balcony with 180° spectacular rice field, mountain and ocean view.
1:30 pm: End of the class and return back to your Hotel or Villa.

Pickup Option

Complimentary pickup is available for Kuta, Legian, Seminyak, Canggu, Pererenan, Kerobokan, and Tanah Lot.

For other areas, including Tuban, Kuta, Uluwatu, Nusa Dua, Jimbaran, Sanur, Ubud, and Balian Beach, a transportation fee of IDR 550,000 per car (maximum 6 people) applies.

You will receive the confirmation of your booking's availability within 24 hours. Once confirmed, please present your booking reference number at the cooking school.

Cancellation

Full refund will be issued for cancellation made at least 48 hours prior to the activity

Highlight of our Bali trip. We booked this last minute and were so pleased that we did. We learnt a lot about Bali culture during the market visit and cooking class and it was great fun. We cooked lots of food and had an incredible, very filling lunch. Don’t hesitate to book this.

Erlanda was a wonderful host. The setting in the rice fields was sublime. The food was scrumptious (don’t have a large breakfast beforehand as the lunch is huge). I would unreservedly recommend!
