Valencian Paella & Tapas Cooking Class in The Old Town

Our cooking school is located in the heart of the Carmen neighborhood in the old city. We are wheelchair accessible, as well as our restroom. Our kitchen space/workspace is open and feels very much like home. We have a large family style table that seats 16 comfortably. Your instructor/chef for Paella classes is from Valencia and has a minimum of 15 years cooking Spanish cuisine. Surrounding our school are local bars and shops and we are within walking distance from most monuments and sites of interest. Our space is warm and cozy in the winter months and bright and cool in the warmer weather. 

We provide aprons and recipes and do our best to answer questions you might have about Valencia. We are a short walk from the Central Market and our ingredients are all purchased there. Contact us if you're interested in a market tour. We offer Paella Valenciana, Vegetarian/Vegan Paella, tapas and dessert. All workshops include the first two drinks. Vegan tapas and desserts are also available. 

Menu

• Paella Valenciana (with Chicken) or *Vegetarian Paella:
• Esgarraet- Cod fish and roasted red pepper, served on warm bread/ or vegetarian version
• Grilled seasonal vegetables w/ Salsa Verde
• Coca de Llanda - Traditional Lemon Cake served with Mistela/ or Seasonal Fruit/ Roasted Pumpkin served with Mistela

*Our vegetarian paella is suitable for vegans and the choice of ingredients is seasonal

• 5:30 pm: Participants arrive, Introduction to ingredients and historical info about Paella 
• 6:00 pm: Preparation and Cooking session
• 6:45 pm: Paella cooking and tapas plating
• 8:00 pm: Dinner & Dessert
