Day Tour with Noodle Making, Wet Market Visit, and Terracotta Warriors

This is the perfect experience for those fascinated by the food, history and culture of Xi'an.

On this full day tour, you will visit a local wet market and learn the secrets to making delicious Xi'an Biang Biang noodles, as well as explore the must-see Terracotta Warriors and Horses (recognized as the 8th Wonder of the World!). 

The trip starts with the Terracotta Warriors where your tour guide will introduce you to all the important figures, horses, and weapons. The terracotta figures are so well-preserved that you can imagine what the Qin Dynasty was like 2000 years ago! From their horse chariots and weapons, all the way through to their individual facial expressions, it's a spectacular feat to witness. 

After a lunch break, we'll head to a wet market and see how the locals make hand-pulled Biang Biang noodles at a traditional restaurant. 

This is not a typical cooking class, but we guarantee it'll be a true immersion into the cuisine and culture of Xi'an.

Programme

• 8:00 am: Your guide will meet you at your hotel lobby.
• 8:15 am Head for the Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum.
• 9:30 am: Start the tour with the museum.
• 12:00 pm: Having a local lunch. 
• 1:00 pm: Wet market tour. You will buy the necessary ingredients for the cooking class. 
• 2:20 pm: Hand-on cooking class that you will learn how to cook with your chef.
• 4:00 pm: Enjoy your Biang Biang noodles.
• 5:00 pm: You will be transferred back to the hotel and end of the day
