Bali is more than just pretty beaches and rice terrace fields. The way we Balinese live our everyday lives is a unique experience to behold, with culture, art, tradition and religion merging together to create a beautiful daily routine. 

We want to invite you to experience our daily life together with us. 

First, our expert chef will take you to the local market to buy fresh ingredients for the day's meal. Once the shopping is done, you'll head to Perantenan Restaurant and enjoy a welcome drink or coffee along with the stunning view of the rice fields.

Before we begin cooking together, we'll make "canang", which is a daily Balinese offering and an expression of gratitude. 

Then it's time to roll up your sleeves, put on your aprons, and start cooking a traditional Balinese feast!

Menu

• Urab Timun
  • Sliced cucumber, bean sprout, edamame, cabbage with grated coconut in yellow paste
• Soup Acar Kuning
  • Balinese fragrant prawn soup with tomato cherry and edamame infused with lemongrass and kaffir lime leaves
• Pepes Ikan
  • Fish wrapped in banana leaves with yellow paste, tomato wedges, and lemon basil infused with local fresh bay leaves and kaffir lime leaves
• Sate Ayam
  • Minced chicken with yellow paste, palm sugar, coconut milk, kaffir lime, and lemongrass stick
• Dissert Pisang Rai
  • Poached banana in streaky rice flour with grated coconut on top and caramel palm sugar

*Vegetarian and other Balinese dishes are available on request.

Jadwalkan

• 8:30 am: Pick up at your hotel 
• 9:00 am: Local market tour to learn about the local culture and lifestyle
• 9:45 am: Arrive at Perantenan Restaurant for a brief introduction. Coffee and tea are served.
• 10.00 am: Making Balinese offering "Canang & Tipat" in our Yoga Lounge
• 11:00 am: Cooking session with our chef
• 1:00 pm: Time to enjoy your dishes
• 1:45 pm: End of the cooking experience and ready to go back to Ubud
