We had a wonderful evening experience with instructors Mateo & Victoria! They kept the class on track, were very personable, fun and engaging! There was no lag or down time - the three hours flew by and the pasta & gelato was incredible! Our family of 7 plus a baby got a large table all together to ourselves, the process was easy and smooth! Highly recommend!
Stefanie was brilliant! We had a great class making cannoli, tiramisu and cappuccino. The class was fun and interactive 🙂
Very fun and Stefania is the best!!
We loved it so much! Our chef was so knowledgeable and funny. Great experience.
Excellent class! I felt like a chef! The cannoli and tiramisu was amazing! Estefania is great teacher.
Brilliant class, very fun, and absolutely delicious! Anna was a great teacher, and it was just the right amount of time. Well worth the price! Very relaxed atmosphere, great group size!
Really lovely experience , the music was beautiful and the menu was great. Felt like a very special and different night out in Rome.
Very beautiful! I really liked the combination of the cooking show and live opera with the singer and pianist. Stefania, the chef for the evening, was very skilled and engaging! Thank you for the wonderful experience, well done everyone! 🙂
We booked this dinner for my wife’s birthday because I was looking for something special in Rome, not just a normal restaurant dinner, and I have to say it was absolutely the right choice!! I was really impressed by the way the Italian food was prepared live by the chefs and how it created such a beautiful atmosphere together with the Opera Singer and the piano in the background. What made the evening even more memorable was the beautiful surprise they prepared for my wife’s birthday, with a candle and a prosecco toast that made her feel really special. It was such a thoughtful touch and something we will definitely remember. It felt like a very unique evening, with great wine, amazing Italian food culture, and delicious dishes from start to finish. If you are visiting Rome and want something different from the usual restaurant experience, you should definitely come here!
We (two sisters) had a wonderful time learning to make pasta and gelato with Marcello! He was a humorous and skillful chef and teacher. I never thought I would be able to roll a sheet of pasta so thin or make a sauce so delicious, but he led us with confidence and ability. We enjoyed meeting other people and sharing the delicious meal Marcello taught us to make. A wonderful experience!
The cooking class was a lot of fun. We learned a lot of new things. Nice company and very funny bosses. The food was of course the highlight very delicious pesto and gelato.
Wonderful experience. Loved it! Well organized and we made the BEST pasta and gelato! Would definitely do again! Great chefs! Authentic experience.
We had such a great time in our pasta and gelato class. Chefs Marcelo and Federico were great instructors and we learned some great cooking tips along with learning the actual steps to make pasta, ravioli, two sauces and gelato. In our family of 5 one of us is a chef and one doesn’t cook much at all and we all had and equally fun time! We enjoyed wine, water and sodas with our meal and finishing off with delicious gelato was the perfect end. We would recommend this experience to anyone who wants to learn how to make Italian food with some great people.
Chef Nadia and Frederico were fantastic instructors! We made pesto tagliatelle, ravioli and vanilla gelato. It was fun, informative and most importantly, delicious! Couldn’t recommend their class enough.
Nadia was fantastic! She made everyone feel comfortable, added humor and personal stories to make the day delightful. The market tour was a highlight and breaks up the day. You’ll get to meet people and learn more about the Italian culture. Much more than a cooking class. Went with my husband who doesn’t cook as much as me and we both loved it. Highly recommend!!!
This was a wonderful class. Salvo was exceptional. He provided great insight to the Sicilian food culture and history. The food was awesome as well. The stroll through the market was informative. Highly recommend this class.
We had a blast! Salvo and Marcelo were fun, energetic, informative and great hosts! Good pace to the class, anyone could take the class and come away with some more cooking knowledge. Chefs were able to adapt the menu for food accommodations. We had gluten-free, and vegetarian participants in our class and they were given options The market was great and an experience in and of itself. Loved the experience! It’s worth doing a class! And we got a group pictures also.
Two of us went. Two of us had a wonderful time. Fun experience. Tasty food. Fantastic time had with Marcello as our chef instructor. Marcello made us feel very welcome and created a very chill and fun experience. We made arancini (ragù and cheese options for meatless), maccheroni alla Norma, and cannoli. All were very tasty and fun to make. We had lots left over so dinner was covered. The market walk was cool, we had walked it ourselves the day before and didn’t notice or know what to look for. Marcello made sure we got more out of the market walk and made sure we picked good quality fruits. Grazie Marcello and company from T, G, e piccolo vampiro.
We had an amazing experience with Chef Marcello! The day started with a very informative market tour followed by a hands-on session in the kitchen. We learned so much throughout the process and ended the afternoon enjoying the literal 'fruits of our labor'—delicious pasta and arancini, perfectly capped off with wine and cannoli. I highly recommend this market tour and cooking class!!
This was a lovely way to spend a few hours. We all felt very accomplished when our pasta turned out as it was meant to but clearly that was due to the expertise and encouragement we were treated to by our two lovely teachers. My daughter and I are excited to try it again at home.
I had a wonderful time making pasta from scratch! Alice & Victoria were so lovely, explained everything so well and even shared little tips! We made 3 different types of pastas and they were so simple yet so yumm! A must try if you are looking to do something fun!
Lisa was incredible! Very fun night!
Super fun cooking class! We made 3 pastas and 3 sauces. They were delicious! Our chef, Roberta, was so knowledgeable. She was patient and very fun. We learned so much. Highly recommend this experience!
Lisa was incredible! Very fun night!
Lisa made this whole experience! She was funny, so knowledgeable, and so friendly! I would 1000% recommend her class to everyone I know.
Lisa and Victoria were the best! Knowledgeable, fun, welcoming, and most of all patient. This was high on our to do list and we were pretty nervous, within minutes of meeting them both we felt right at home and comfortable, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience!! Thanks again!!
Jon was a great instructor. He was able to teach adults and kids under 10 at the same time. He was patient and could help anyone that needed it. He incorporated as many of us in the group to help with cooking sauces. Each person made their own pasta. The gelato was given at the end. More than just a taste, each person go their own gelato.
Towns of Italy presented a wonderful cooking experience! Fredrico was amazing! We learned, we laughed, we met new people, and we ate great pasta!
We had a great time! We learned about Italian pasta making and traditions and got to eat delicious pasta and gelato. We attended with a family of 5 (16, 14, 10 year olds) and everyone enjoyed it!
Fantastic. Thanks Alice and Victoria.
Lisa was amazing. Very accommodating and informative. I was able to follow really well. I'm 65 and the class went down to 9 years old. Great directions and instructions. I loved everything about it.
It was an awesome experience. Everything was delicious and informative! Totally recommend this and Victoria was absolutely incredible.
Fabulous. Everything was amazing!
Absolutely loved it, Victoria/Christa is amazing. Absolutely loved it all!
Great experience with even better food! Victoria was great and very knowledgeable about everything.
Our instructor was amazing! She was funny, personable and gracious to each student. I would take more classes with her if we were in Rome longer.
Knowledgeable and patient teachers kept it fun, educational and successful! The whole family (2 adult & 2 teens) loved this.
We absolutely LOVED this cooking class! Everything we learned and ate was so amazing. We had our teenagers with us and they also had such a good time. Would highly recommend!
Jon was amazing! So patient with us even though we weren’t the best pasta makers 🫣. Mateo was also a great mentor. We came in a group of 4 and left and a friend group as 6 ❤️.
Thank you Jon! So great. Best part of our trip.
Visited with husband , adult son and younger son . Iots of fun had by all . My husband likes to make pizza at home and now has all the skills to take it to the next level.
Lisa was a great teacher and we had so much fun learning how to make gelato and pizza
Our family, including children ages 10 and 12, thoroughly enjoyed this experience. We learned a lot about what makes Italian food special, and we enjoyed eating our creations! It was a highlight of our time in Florence.
Alessandro made our class exciting and fun!! He spent time with each participant and made sure that we were successful!
The Pizza and Gelato course was instructive and fun. Our Chef Alessandro was a super guy, engaging and did a great job to teach us with an easy manner and getting good results. The kitchen is clean and well set up for the purpose, the whole session worked very well for adults and kids. We got to enjoy our Pizza creation and Gelato with some red wine and soft drinks provided. It was time and money well spent and is a highlight of our visit to Florence.
Chef was so informative! I learned a ton while also having fun.
Andrea made our Italian cooking experience one to remember. He was informative & helpful. We really enjoyed our evening. Grazie to Andrea & the team
We thought the class was just okay. The gelato piece consisted of watching the instructor make the ice cream. A dessert that was more hands-on/interactive would have been good. The pizza was good but no discussion of making the sauce, how to cook in the oven, etc. More involvement in the gelato, baking of the pizza, and preparation of the toppings would have made this better.
What a fun class! Matteo was great and provided interesting "secrets" on both pizza-making and gelato-making. The group was great as well, as was the facility. Thank you!
We signed up for this class for the Handmade Pasta and Gelato Cooking Class in Florence. Chef Tommaso was a great teacher. He was calm and friendly, yet clearly knew his stuff. Loved when he played Beatles music during the time we were waiting for the dough to rest! The description of the menu (Ravioli con ricotta, Spaghetti alla Carbonara, Vanilla Gelato, drinking water, red wine) was slightly altered when potato was substituted for the ricotta, but he added a recipe for pesto as a third sauce that more than made up for it. The 3 hours flew by, and we loved the timing of the class 3-6pm. We left with practical recipes and a confidence that we can hand make our own pasta and ravioli. We plan on hosting a dinner party with these recipes as we share our memories our trip to Florence. Wholeheartedly recommend this class and Chef Tommaso.
It was a great meal and really nice to see my kids making pasta. The chef was great and a really nice environment. We learnt a tonne.
First class in all respects, starting with our driver and guide Gabrielle. Slow and easy drive in very comfortable Mercedes van across the Tuscan countryside as Gabrielle narrated. Stops at three different wineries, for tasting of olive oils and wines produced at the vineyards, no hurry, no sales pumping, very well informed and professional sommeliers. Delightful pranzo at final winery and return to Firenze. Best continuous seven hours of our trip to date. Highly recommend.
I was really lucky to have a private class for my cooking experience in Milan. Matteo was great at explaining all the different steps and creating a relaxed and fun environment for learning. He was very flexible and easy to talk to. We had a great time cooking a delicious meal and going around the market to enjoy all the amazing stalls here. Highly recommended!
We loved the class. The small group and the teacher were wonderful. We highly recommend this class in Florence.
What a beautiful experience. The three vineyards each had something special to offer even though some of the wines and oils were similar. The tastings were generous and the food pairings delicious. Our guides were knowledgeable and super fun. What a wonderful experience!
Great class. Frederico was fun and very knowledgeable. I have an allergy to eggs and he knew immediately what to substitute. Everything was delicious. I would recommend the class to anyone.
Class was great. Attended with my 2 grandchildren. Suggestion: would be a good idea to give children water or fruit juice instead of coke to eat with their pizza!!
Our pizza and gelato-making class was a key activity for my husband and I and our three adult children while visiting Florence Italy. It was well-organized, informative, and a lot of fun. The pizza and gelato turned out to be delicious and we received recipes to replicate at home. Special mention to Alicia who shared some key facts about gelato and how to identify the healthier versions across Italy. She shared her favorite gelato spots in the city and just brought a visible passion and excitement to the experience.
This tour was the highlight of our time in Florence. We loved seeing all the Vineyards and olive trees. Plus the wine and oils were absolutely delicious. Plus the lunch at the last stop was so tasty and such a nice way to finish the tour. Our tour guide was so kind and knowledgeable as well and really taught us so much.
Great instructors! Great Pizza! Great gelato! Need I say more?
It was a wonderful experience to make tagliatelle and Ravioli pasta along with the two sauces. We also made our own tiramisu. great experience and the two cooking instructors (Alice and Jon) were excellent. They were funny, cheerful, and full of information and advice. It was a fun experience. Definitely recommend it.
Entertaining instructor, and a fun experience.
Tasty!
Highly recommend Andrea and his team for the pizza class. The whole family was happy to learn and enjoy the time with Andrea. Thank you !
My family enjoyed this class, and it was fun to learn to make our own pizza, especially the dough and the technique to roll it out. The gelato part was more of a demo, and there wasn't a hands on component other than the two volunteers that joined the demo. I appreciated the personalities of both instructors who were clearly passionate about their craft. There were lots of young children in our class, and I would encourage the instructors to do more to engage them or give them more hands on opportunities during the class to drive their learning. Our kids are 6 and 9 and they struggled during some of the long demos and discussions, especially since it was heard for them to hear and understand what was being shared.
Good communication, nice atmosphere, tasty, easy access, everything was perfect !
My daughter and I attended the pizza and gelato making class. Although I've made pizza for years, I learned the Italian way, and can't wait to make it at home! We also really enjoyed getting to know the other participants. We had a great time! Highly recommended!
My family participated in the pizza and Gelato making class on our last day in Florence. It was a highlight of our trip and we all had a fantastic experience. Our 9- year- old declared it the best pizza of the whole trip! We've already bought our zero zero flour and are ready to try it again at home!
Fun afternoon, with some interesting tips to take home. Yummy food, compliments to the chef :)
David was exceptional at hearing the class towards all levels of cooks. From those who were there only to observe to those, like me, who had many questions about technique, he was patient and professional throughout. The food we prepared was delicious and I can’t wait to try the recipes when I get home.
We had so much fun learning about making pizza and gelato. We feel really motivated to try our new skills when we go home. We can keep a little of the Florence Italy loveliness going after the trip. The instructions were clear and helpful. It’s a very relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. And we got eat the delicious things we prepared or helped prepare. Fabulous class!
Went there with my family and joined other families in a fun, simple yet delicious experience.
Tommaso was the star. A great teacher full of passion and professionalism. We were simply delighted by his charming stories and explanations. As a family we all enjoyed the course and got to know that we were his first Italian group. We had a really enjoyable evening and got to learn all we wanted about cooking pizza!
We spent the day with Dario, our tour guide, and were lucky enough to have no one else on the tour except us. We saw three wineries in the most picturesque locations one could possibly imagine. There, we learned about Tuscan history and the winemaking process, and of course tasted plenty of delicious wines. Since we explored the Chianti region of Tuscany, most of the wines were delicious Chiantis, but there were merlots and dessert wines available as well. Dario was the best tour guide we could have asked for. Not only was he very friendly and knowledgeable, he was fluent in English and conversational, which kept the tour interesting and engaging. He truly made this one of the best days of our entire honeymoon. Thanks so much Dario and Cookly for making this happen! We'll never forget it.
The location is excellent. David and Katarina were very patient with the kids, and the pizza and gelato turned out excellent. Kids though it was one of the best things we have done.
Очень понравился мастер класс. Очень приятная девушка и её коллеги. Хорошая дружеская обстановка. Всем советую, детям тоже очень понравилось
Very good cooking class with chef John who explains nice how to do the perfect pizza and Catarina who makes us the gelato world specialist . We had fun cooking all together and make our own pizza which was really good , gelato was wonderful too . Very good organization , we are really happy with this cooking class !
It’s a great way to learn how to make pizza and gelato and make friends and of course eat your masterpiece, we had a wonderful time
We really enjoyed the class. It was great fun.
John was great and entertaining. Everyone got along so well
Best meal I’ve had in Italy. Can’t wait to try recipes at home
Fantastic tour around the markets hearing about all the different variety’s of fresh produce. The hosts explain everything well and we got to be hands on throughout. Highly recommended.
Best part of our weekend! It was educational, fun and tasty served with wine. Excellent teacher- thank you! Great tour around the market and we'd definitely recommend.
Can’t wait to try what we learned!
Great time had by all.
Great time, very educational. Nice tour of the market, and we made awesome food!
