Cooking Experience in Marrakech Medina

Our cooking classes give you the opportunity to experience first-hand a slice of life in the vibrant Marrakech medina. The class is led by our chef, who translates everything from French/Arabic to English.

It takes place in the kitchen of our riad. It starts at 10:00 am (or 2:00 pm) and lasts for approximately 4 hours, and includes shopping at the local market called a “Souq” where “Merrakchis” usually do their daily shopping. Redouan will help you to choose the best ingredients for your Moroccan recipes. On the way back you stop in the local communal oven where locals bake their homemade bread and pastry.

During the cooking portion, you will prepare an assortment of traditional Moroccan dishes and finally eat all the delicious dishes you’ve prepared! We also provide you with a certificate and the recipe sheets so you can impress your family and friends back home.
