We loved Maya’s cooking class! She was so kind and full of helpful tips. Every dish was delicious, and the mochi were our favorite — we can’t wait to make them again at home. Highly recommend!​​​​​​​​​​​​​

Maya was the perfect host. Very communicative before the class and both chatty and friendly during it. Everything we made was delicious and she gave us a handy recipe book to take home plus loads of leftovers. We even got to do a wee matcha tutorial. Arigato :)

Upon arrival at her train station, she ended up meeting us at a different Family Mart from the one she requested, which was actually a lot further away, because we couldn't find it. I felt so bad but she didn't complain at all. She walked my 12 year old son and I to her apartment where her mom was waiting for us. Maya and her mom were both very pleasant and patient. Instructions were clear and easy and the results were delicious. We had leftovers to take with us! Yum! They took pictures and a video which they shared with me, and Maya was also nice enough to email me the ingredients in Japanese in case we wanted to buy any here to bring back home to make! Thanks so much Maya and mom!

Maya & her sister were so nice and fun to talk to. They answered all my questions and made me feel confident that i can do this at home! They let me practice my Japanese but were well versed in English! I highly recommend this class. ☺️

Maya and her sister were wonderful hosts/teachers. They helped us to create a wonderful meal that was not only delicious, but that we could reasonably replicate at home. The ingredients were fresh and simple. The results were surprisingly delicious considering we are not great cooks. She was very patient and very competent, as was her sister who was helping out. We highly recommend you choosing Maya for your Japanese culinary experience, and we look forward to booking her services again on our next Japan trip.

We made delicious okonomiaki and yakisoba! The main supprise for me was the daifuku: Much easier than I thought and sooooo yummy! Can’t wait to recreate everything at home. Thanks for the amazing class and the recipes!

It was a very nice class, everything was explained very well. They showed us and let us do by ourselves. Sweets were so delicious and they told us about the tea ceremony. Everything was interesting, thank you very much. We recommend 100%.

Thank you Maya & Arisa for an enjoyable dessert making session this afternoon. They were both very friendly and patient with novices like us. And yes, we were successful in making the 3 desserts, which we ate after while sipping on our matcha tea. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a unique experience in Osaka other than shopping and sightseeing.

Today we had a cooking class at Tenma kitchen. 2 lovely ladies learnt us how to make Okonomiyaki, Yakisoba and fruit Daifuku. They were very nice, explained everything very well and were patient with us and our little girl (3 years old). They helped her very good and made so much effect for us. We got the recipes with us so we can make everything at home. Definitely going to do that! Thank you so much for everything.

Maya and her mum were attentive and answered all my questions. They are the only class that teaches Japanese dessert and advised me where to sought the ingredients that I can take back to my home country. They even recommended me places to visit whilst my stay in Japan. Overall highly highly recommend this class.
