It was an amazing experience and the amount of flavors on offer was both eye opening and amazing to see, My family and I loved every second of it! Highly Recommended as the kids had a lot of fun smacking mochi!!

We had the most wonderful time at the Mochi Pounding Experience in Osaka! The owner was warm and welcoming and made us feel like we were visiting an old friend rather than attending a tourist activity. He took the time to explain the process in detail, sharing his personal connection to the tradition and making sure we all felt comfortable participating. The mochi pounding itself was a blast, and the owner's guidance made it easy and enjoyable. But what truly stood out was his exceptional hospitality. He shared stories, laughed with us, and created a truly memorable atmosphere. It was clear that he genuinely cared about our experience, and his passion for sharing his culture was evident in every interaction. We left feeling not only full of delicious mochi but also with a deeper appreciation for Japanese traditions. Would definitely recommend for couples or families

Before this experience, we loved mochi but knew nothing of its origins or preparation. Now, we love it more and have a better appreciation for it. Great experience to learn, make, and eat FRESH mochi! Worth doing.
