If you want to discover, taste and learn how to make typical recipes of Sicilian and Italian cuisine, then this is the right experience for you!
I will make you discover and love making fresh pasta and its sauces. We will make three types of pasta together, one of which is stuffed. You will learn to cook these typical dishes of my land.
We will start by enjoying a fresh aperitif with typical snacks from my region. We will cook together and eat the prepared pasta, seasoned with typical Sicilian sauces. In my kitchen you will always find dishes based on vegetables from my garden or from local producers. Vegetables are important and fundamental ingredients in Sicilian cuisine, in fact you will be able to use and taste the extra virgin olive oil I produce.
After preparing and cooking we will sit in the garden to enjoy our dishes while sipping a fresh wine and an excellent coffee.
We will prepare three different types of fresh pasta:
Ravioli stuffed with local ricotta and seasonal organic vegetables
Fettuccine with your choice of meat or fish, paired with fresh vegetables
Sicilian cavatelli made with fresh, organic ingredients
Sip on refreshing local wine and end with a perfect Italian coffee.
10:30 AM – Introduction and welcome aperitif with appetizers, bruschetta, and cheeses
10:45 AM – Start of the lesson with dough preparation
11:00 AM – Cooking session: sauce preparation
11:30 AM – Cooking session: shaping different types of pasta
12:45 PM – Cooking pasta and enjoying the meal together
1:30 PM – End of the experience
