课程介绍

Get a hands-on experience of Vietnamese cuisine and a solid introduction to Hanoi's culinary culture in our half-day cooking program, which includes exploring a local market by cyclo-tour.

You will cook 4 dishes of your choice from our menu (vegetarians are welcome). Everyone will head to the local market together to select the freshest ingredients for your dishes.

Once you've arrived back at the cooking studio, all guests will individually prepare their Vietnamese dishes at individual stations. Every recipe was carefully selected by the chef and has been in local families for generations.

This cooking class and market tour is an unmissable highlight in Vietnam and a true immersion into local life.

You will cook 4 dishes. Please choose your own menu and let us know in the comment section when you book. You can also choose any three of the listed dishes and any 1 dessert if you prefer.

"Satisfying and Insightful"

In Hanoi for first time, and unfortunately it was summer and stinking hot 40 degrees. But our cooking instructor Ming took us to the market, showed us different types of vegetables and their usage. We then went to highway 4 cooking school and learnt how to cook four fabulous dishes. I am a total flop non-cook person and my husband is s bit of a gourmet Masterchef. Ming was patient and had us chopping and dicing in no time. We made spring rolls and sauce. Beef rolls, fried rice authentic and sweet balls. We all went downstairs after cooking and feasted on our banquet. Was great fun and very professional. We got the receipes emailed to us. Considering it was soooo hot the whole session went well . Perhaps was scaled towards me as a non cook. Let them know your level so Ming can tailor to suit.

"Concise and Helpful"

Our guide gave us a tour around the local market and also described the history behind the building. During the cooking lesson, the ingredients were already prepared. What I really liked was that I was able to choose my own combination of 3 dishes and 1 dessert rather than selecting a menu like other classes. We were also surprised when we got to eat a bowl of sour soup and morning glory in addition to the dishes we cooked. Since it was our first time in Hanoi, the pick up service was definitely helpful to getting around the place. I would like it if there was a drop off service as well since taxis are sometimes unreliable. Overall, I would recommend this course for beginners in cooking.

"Great fun"

Really enjoyed the cooking class. Very friendly people, enjoyed the cyclo ride to the market and the good was delicious.
