I could take individual lesson in a cozy an homely atomosphre and could choose three dishes among more than 10 items. It was much better than lerning the fixed typical dishes.
It’s everything as described and Vy made it super fun. We were joking about the whole time and I learned a bunch. 10/10 experience
I loved that we started at the market. Mango (our chef) showed us lots of interesting produce and shared really useful tips. Then we went to her house where we started cooking. There were 4 of us. We had so much fun together. Mango showed us step by step what to do. She could do it with such ease, support and fun. I am really glad I chose this cooking class.

Fabulous four hours spend shopping, cooking and then enjoying the five delicious dishes. The small group made it a really personal experience. Our guide and instructor Hailey was super knowledgeable and just so friendly. Highly recommend.
We had a fantastic cooking workshop yesterday led by Cherry. Dine with Locals handles things in a particularly professional manner. The dishes were delicious and easy to prepare. The atmosphere was good and the people were friendly. We are taking home a wonderful memory. We wish Cherry and her colleagues many more wonderful workshops and success in the future. When we first booked this experience, I had my doubts that a group of chefs and food professionals from the US would enjoy a "cooking class", given their collective experience. Nothing could be further from the truth. Chef Minh and his team, in the incredible oasis of Toi Toi culinary center not only taught us unique technique and secrets of Vietnamese classics, they did so in a way that simply floored each chef. The garden, the outdoor grill, the incredibly appointed teaching kitchen, and the finale of sitting down for a lunch of our collective dishes was an experience that could not have been imagined. We had spent 5 days touring shrimp farms and techniques in Souther Vietnam. Finishing our trip in Hanoi with Chen Minh's afternoon of cooking and camaradrie was a highlight of our time Vietnam. One of the best cooking classes by far! You get to do everything from shopping at the market to eating the food. Devin was our cooking instructor and his English was great. He was so friendly and they accommodated the menu to suit our dietary requirements. The kitchen was clean and sanitary. I’d say this cooking class is a must in Hanoi!
We really enjoyed both the market tour and cooking class. This was one of the highlights of our trip. We'd recommend this class to anyone who want to a chance to experience life in Hanoi.

Very nice way to spend the morning in Hanoi. Skilled and friendly animator, answered all out questions in excellent english. The coffee was great and introduced us to varieties we used in the weeks after. Only reason for 4 stars (and not 5) was location which was a stylish office just like the one where I work and didn’t exactly have a Vietnamese vibe.
I highly recommend taking the Apron Up Cooking Class. We had an amazing instructor, Hazel, teach us how to make 5 authentic Vietnamese dishes. I highly recommend taking the class.
