This was so much fun! Accursia and her son Vincensio were welcoming, knowledgeable, and prepared. From start to finish, we were taught about the pasta and how to make it. We created sevveral different pasta shapes (6 total), and learned about a variety of edible flowers and herbs to include. Everything we used was grown on their property and we were also treated to home grown fruits, wine, and breads. The experience was amazing and we really enjoyed it!❤️😊

If you want an experience where they do everything for you this is not the one to choose. This is truly an Italian family home and kitchen where you will make several courses from fresh pasta and veggies to fish and dessert. The hosts are incredibly friendly and clearly passionate about their craft and making a comfortable but authentic atmosphere. When gramma arrives to help it’s the sweetest thing. She doesn’t speak a lick of English but will encourage and help throughout the day. I definitely recommend this over a more commercial larger experience where they want to take you to a tiny market and charging more. We had a very small group of seven people, and it was perfect. The food was outstanding and we left full and satisfied. The location is quite quaint as it’s right on the waterfront overlooking the beach.
Amazing experience with chef Maurizio! He is extremely knowledgeable and passionate. We shopped at the market, which was an amazing experience in itself. We then returned to chef Maurizio’s restaurant and made several dishes, including a simple sauce for pasta, caponata, stuffed sea bass and a delicious salad. One the best experiences we had during our trip to Italy and Sicily. Thank you chef!!
Our family had a great experience in this class. We did a 2 pm time slot so this was our main meal for the day, and it was plenty of food! It was also a nice break from the intense heat of the day. Chef Marco and his assistant Saiful were wonderful to the whole group, and they made it all work seamlessly. Each step of the way they explained everything and helped us work together to make a delicious meal. Our 10-year old twin boys loved it and insisted that it was the best pizza they ate in Italy. We were with 2 other families so it made it a lot of fun for the kids to have some peers there as well. The wines they provided for the adults were fun to try as well. We’ll definitely look for another class like this in the future.
Massimo is a very welcoming host who is fun to learn and lunch with. We had a great time learning the art of pasta making and he let us try his ferrari 😉🤭 I definitely recommend his class! Even my 14 and 12 yr old enjoyed it!
Marco and his team were fabulous! We had a great class, he gave a lot of good tips for our pizza making. The staff were so kind that they called us when we were running late to check we were okay! Highly recommend!
Our cooking class with Mariella was one of the highlights of our trip to Sicily. From the moment we arrived, Mariella welcomed us into her home like family. Her warmth, energy, and passion for Sicilian cuisine made the experience truly special. We loved learning about local dishes, cooking together, and hearing her stories about the region and its traditions. It felt less like a class and more like spending time with a dear friend. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Catania—it’s an authentic, memorable, and wonderful way to experience Sicilian culture.
It was so fun to have dinner with Claudia. Her husband Bruno and friend Angela picked us up from the train station (25 minute trip) for the short trip to their home. Claudia gave us a tour of her garden while we gathered up some herbs for cooking. We made a few different dishes, including a couple of pasta dishes. While we prepared food Bruno, who is a musician, played music for us. We had a lovely dinner in their garden before heading back to the train station. All of the food was delicious and our hosts were such fun. It was really a blast.
We visited on a Wednesday afternoon with our adult child and their partner and had a most wonderful time! Francesco is an absolutely incredible host who truly made us feel like dear friends being shown the farm and cheese making process. We *HIGHLY* recommend this experience! Take your time, ask lots of questions, and experience, natural cheese, making at its finest!
The space was gorgeous and our chef, Maria was fabulous. We loved our experience as a family. The food was delicious and we had a ton of fun. I would recommend this experience 1000%
