課程介紹

This cooking experience is for those travelers who wish to gain insight into an Indian home and interact with an Indian middle-class family while learning to prepare a traditional Indian meal, dessert, and drink.

You will get to see how homes in India are styled and furnished and how a local family lives in India.

You will discover the culinary heritage and cultural values of India, beyond just the food. You will also get an opportunity to learn some useful Hindi words and sentences in a fun activity that you can use during your travels.

Anybody's visit to Delhi would be incomplete without booking this incredible experience!

"5-star experience that I would recommend to anyone"

Roopak and Nidhi were fantastic hosts. They went above and beyond to keep us informed and constantly provided outstanding tips. Their house is lovely. Despite our late arrival, Roopak kindly picked us up from the Metro station. We had numerous questions about India, its history, religion, and culture, all of which they answered with patience. The food was exceptional. We learned simple recipes and techniques that can be easily replicated back home. I highly recommend participating in this at the beginning of your tour. It serves as an excellent introduction to Indian culture, enriching the overall experience. The only downside: they offered gifts in exchange for a review before we left. We declined due to limited space. This gesture did not tarnish the wonderful experience we had with them, but it’s worth noting, as it could make guests feel pressured to leave a more favorable review to avoid any awkwardness. Despite the minor concern, it was still a 5-star experience that I would recommend to anyone.

The Indian culture is to treat your guests like a God and indeed that’s how I felt. Nidhi’s warmth and hospitality match her cooking skills - she’s gracious and generous and has a sharp sense of humor. We prepared delicious, healthy, fresh food together- all the while Nidhi patiently explained what we were doing and why. I’m a happy customer and highly recommend Nidhi’s cooking class to anyone who wants an authentic experience of home cooked Indian food and an extra dose of feel-good hospitality ❤️ Thank you 🙏

"Nice experience to meet a local family and deeply explore the traditions"

Nice experience to meet a local family and deeply explore the traditions, the food, etc and also to have a humble daily common talk with them. An open conversation where we brought our questions, doubts and also they explain us a lot of interesting things. We helped a bit also to prepare the delhi-cious dinner. They are open to take as many photos as you want. Consider taking a cab to arrive, 1h + approx from old delhi. Definitely a really valuable experience and Roopak's family also pay attention to the details,from the warm welcome to a very comfortable session of conversation with amenities and everything we could need! Thanks!

Option 1 - The Guest can arrive by Cab / Uber at Sanskriti Apartment, Sector 19B, Dwarka, Delhi - 110075. I will meet the Guest inside the Sanskriti Apartment and then take him/her into my home for the Experience.

Option 2 - My home is just 5 min. (by car) from the nearest Metro Station which is "Dwarka Sector 10" on the Blue Line of Delhi Metro. I can pick up & drop off the Guest from the Metro Station at no extra cost.

In both Options, the Guest will receive detailed instructions from me after booking.
