Wilma was incredible. So patient and thorough in her step by step process. We created a beautiful lunch and sat to enjoy with local wine.
Our family of 5 did the Pasta and Tiramisu class with Tom. It was amazing. Fun and super educational. We made 3 types of pasta and the best tiramisu ever. We then enjoyed our food with some Tuscan wine. What could be better!
What an amazing experience! Giovanni and Tomaso were outstanding instructors-knowledgeable, engaging and lots of fun. We made pizzas, Nutella gelato and orange gelato, and every bite was incredible. We laughed, learned new cooking skills and enjoyed every minute of the class. The location is absolutely stunning and provides the perfect backdrop for a memorable culinary experience. I would highly recommend this class to anyone looking for delicious food, great instructors and a fantastic atmosphere!
100% recommend! The ladies warmly welcomed us into their home, were so beautiful and friendly, and the recipes we prepared, cooked and ate were amazing. The red wine we accompanied out food with was local and divine! Do yourself a favour and book this class with these ladies.
My husband and I had the best time learning to make pasta with Susanna on our honeymoon. Honestly, it was one of the highlights of our trip to Italy for both of us. Susanna is a great teacher, her home is beautiful, and she creates such a meaningful experience for her students. We highly recommend others to take this class!
It was like a friend invited us to a luncheon at home and we cooked together! It was a wonderful experience where we learned how to make pasta, picked up great tips, laughed a lot, and ate very nicely.
Amazing cooking class in Tuscany! We learned how to make fresh pasta with two fantastic teachers – fun, authentic, and delicious experience. Highly recommend! They really do magic with food ❤️
The host greeted us with a warm welcome and so much fun! We learned a lot and enjoyed eating the tasty pasta and tiramisu. Breathtaking view.
We had a wonderful experience and loved everything about it. Thank you to everyone in the team!
We had a fantastic cooking experience with Valentina, Anna Maria and guests. Our cooking teachers were not only skill ful but also so welcoming, warm and full of energy. Sharing thoughts, ideas and laughs with a little assistance of google translate in Valentina and Francesco's nice kitchen when a brief thunder weather past by was amazing. You all made this day life memorable. Thank you so much!
This cooking class was one of the best experiences of our life. Not only were the two hosts extremely welcoming, but they taught us incredible knowledge. I am so thankful for this experience and recommend it highly to anyone visiting the Florence area.
A typical Chianti cooking class covers classics like ribollita, pici with wild boar ragù, pecorino cheese, and the famous Chianti Classico wine. You’ll learn to make fresh pasta, simmer hearty soups, and finish with a sweet cantucci and coffee.
Yes, many cooking schools in Chianti offer vegan, vegetarian, and gluten‑free options. They’ll adapt recipes for tomatoes, lentils, and local grains while still showcasing Tuscan flavors.
Classes usually run 3–4 hours and host 6–12 participants. This keeps the kitchen lively yet intimate, so you get hands‑on practice with a friendly chef.
Most Chianti classes are taught in Italian and English, with some offering French or German. Solo travelers are welcome and often find a welcoming community of fellow food lovers.
Chianti kitchens are relaxed but respectful: remove your shoes at the entrance, keep the dress code casual, and expect mild to moderate heat—Tuscan cuisine favors fresh herbs over heat.
Yes—late summer and fall offer harvest‑the‑wine classes, while Easter or the Chianti Village Fair feature seasonal produce, truffles, and local music.
Couples enjoy the romantic setting of a vineyard kitchen and can share a tasting of Chianti Classico. Families love the hands‑on pasta‑making and the chance to learn about olive oil production.
You might taste a traditional Tuscan “primo” made from homemade ricotta, or get the chance to clean the local olive press and learn its history—an unexpected, sensory adventure.
