If you want to savor Taiwan like the locals, then this cooking class is made for you!!

We will start with the cozy classroom, the hands-on cooking fun begins! Be prepared to learn the 3 Classic Dishes: Mullet Roe Fried Rice, Three-Cup Chicken, Squid with Five-taste Sauce, plus 1 dessert - Tofu Pudding! Mullet Roe is also known as "black gold” in Taiwan, seen as a treasure from our local waters. Let us show you how this delicacy is best savored, and we will taste it Taiwanese Beer!

During the 3.5hrs cooking class, you’ll not only bring home the cooking techniques but also hear the stories behind these delicious dishes, giving you a chance to understand the essence of the unique Taiwanese flavors!
The class can be conducted in English, Chinese and Japanese, please write down your preference at the detail page.

So much fun!

What a fun class! We had a fun group of people traveling to Taiwan that made for a good time. It was very engaging and just the right amount of challenging, in terms of cooking. The xiaolongbao turned our great and the beef noodle soup was better than we've had at restaurants. Our instructor was great and funny as well. I'd highly recommend if your coming to Taipei!

Very friendly and relaxed class!

The class was well-paced and organized. The instructions were friendly and made sure everyone was enjoying. It was a great introduction to Taiwanese cooking, and I learned a few techniques that I can use for my own cooking. It was fun, I'd definitely be back next time I'm in Taipei!

Great Class!

I have taken three classes with Cookinn. The instructors and the founder, Chelsea are all great. It is fun to visit the market with the instructors. They know most of the vendors and point out different interesting tidbits. The classes move along at a good pace. The thing I like the most are their recipes. They are well thought out and tested. I’ve made most of the dishes at home already. Even my wife is asking if they have more classes I can take. Well done Cookinn! One thing to note is that they have moved and may move again. Make sure to double check the address before heading to class.

Perfect

Chelsea was a wonderful host and incredibly knowledgeable about Taiwanese food and culture. She knew everyone in the market and showed us things we couldn’t have seen on our own. The food we made was local and delicious but not too complicated; we’ll be making these dishes at home. Chelsea even gave us some great local reccs for the rest of our trip. It was a wonderful way to spend the morning, I can’t recommend it more!
