With a local guide, explore retro shopping alleys, nostalgic arcades, and off-the-beaten-path bars where locals gather to unwind. Sample a variety of Japanese craft beers, from crisp lagers and bold IPAs to rich stouts, paired with authentic Osaka soul food.

Along the way, uncover the stories and culture behind Umeda while experiencing Osaka’s famous warmth, humor, and vibrant nightlife. It’s a fun and flavorful way to see the city from a local’s perspective—one beer and bite at a time.

• 4:30 pm - Meet in front of the HEP FIVE Building. Look for your guide holding an Arigato Travel sign.
• 4:45 pm - Enjoy Osaka’s iconic Takoyaki paired with your first drink while learning about the history and lively atmosphere of the Umeda area.
• 5:15 pm - Stroll through a bustling local Shotengai (shopping arcade), enjoy another drink and classic Japanese dishes, and experience the after-work atmosphere.
• 6:00 pm - Visit a shrine known for its legendary love story before discovering a hidden underground bar featuring unique craft brews and post-war history.
• 6:45 pm - Take in the dazzling Osaka skyline before finishing the evening with a final drink at a special bar selected by your local guide.
• 7:45 pm - End of the experience.
