Chef was very professional and kid friendly. I have a 12-year-old and a 6 year-old in class , she made sure that they were a part of the class. They had an amazing time and so did I definitely would recommend.. I look forward to visit again.
Prepared 8 dishes- with great variety of techniques. The dessert was particularly interesting and everything was very good. Pedro was fantastic chef and instructor
The exhaust vents did not seem to be able to exhaust all of the cooking odors. I return to my hotel with my clothing smelling of cooking. I was a bit disappointed in that the class wasn't as "hands-on" as others. Rarely was more than one person able to do a task. It didn't feel as much of a "community" effort as others that I have attended.
This class was the highlight of our trip. We learned so many new dishes, and Carina was able to explain each step so well. If you are contemplating taking a cooking class, look no further. It is perfectly supplied and taught, and there is wine! We had a spectacular time, thank you, Nick and Jennifer.
Had a great class in Lisbon with Marco. We made soup, salad, main dish, vegetable, and dessert, plus we enjoyed some local snacks for appetizer when we arrived. Everything was well planned and well orchestrated, not to mention very tasty! We were made to feel welcome from the start and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Marco was a perfect host and it was fun to talk about ingredients and cooking with him. Highly recommend this class!
We loved it! Very personal experience, lovely ladies delivering the course, learnt lots about Portuguese food and culture. Would recommend.
My 13-year old son and I had a wonderful experience cooking Portuguese dishes for the first time. Chef Rita is warm and friendly. She eagerly answered all my food-related questions, and gave us a quick overview of the wines in the different regions of Portugal while waiting for our cooking classmates. She also shared with us the Portuguese technique of cooking bacalhau, baked chicken and her grandma’s delicious orange cake. We’ll surely try to cook them all back home in Manila. Thank you Chef Rita!
Really wonderful mix of cooking, food, wine and history. Engaging teacher and great setting for learning some basic cooking techniques and creating some repeatable-at-home Portuguese dishes. We requested fish and it was superb. Will be taking at least one more class while I am here.
If you want to learn a little bit on how to prepare Portuguese cooking this is the class for you.
This is a fun way of to spend half a day in Lisbon. The marketing was nearly as much fun as the cooking and the eating is always good. Anna is knowledgeable on many aspect of Lisbon, not just the food, and happy to talk about everything. We had a great time and I would recommend it to anyone.
Enjoyed making the delicious Portuguese favorites.
Inga was fabulous and so was the food, school and my new friends. If you are looking for something to do and learn about Portuguese food and have fun while doing it, then this is your place! Thank you Inga, you are the best!
We thoroughly enjoyed the experience of learning about some of Portugal's food and things about the city. Our host was wonderful in providing a memorable experience of roaming through the market, hearing about the parts of the city and providing us with hands on cooking experience. I would highly recommend the class!
Ana was such a great teacher! The class was fun and interesting, and she made sure the ingredients were not only easy to find, but also the most ethical and/or healthy. She was such a pleasure to learn from. I love her passion for food and teaching people how to cook. I'm so glad I took this class!
My husband and I attended a Cooking Lisbon cooking class while on our honeymoon two weeks ago, and we loved it! We got to help make a multi-course meal, all while enjoying good snacks, good wine, and GREAT company. It was so fun to meet other travelers and to connect with each other over food. Anna was our head chef for the night, and she was great at divvying up responsibilities but also keeping the class fun and lighthearted. She made us all feel very welcome and answered any questions we had about the food or just about Lisbon or Portugal in general. It was a nice break from eating out at restaurants every night, and I love that they share the recipes with you so you can try them at home after. Highly recommend!
Absoluut!
