Rice Farming Experience and Cooking Class

課程介紹

Rural Bali Village Trekking will bring you to the authentic atmosphere of the countryside. At the starting point, our guide will brief and give information about the program.You will enjoy warmly welcome with traditional drink “Daluman” and Balinese snack at “wantilan”, the Balinese meeting hall. 

Tracing the path to the Famous Ayung River River with lush tropical plantation while visiting sacred places. We will visit "Beji" Holy spring which is used to purify all of the equipment ceremonies and the symbol of gods upon ceremony in the temples nearby, as well as entering the unique "water cave". 

Passing through the plantations to increase knowledge grows – tropical plants like jack fruit, coffee, cacao, mangosteen and palm tree. You will see how the farmers plough the field with the help of cows and also the planting technique that widely use in Bali. You are also able to plant the paddy with the farmers.

Then continue to the Balinese kitchen for cooking class. Learning from Locals: Move to the Balinese kitchen area called ‘Paon’ you will be amazed by the antique yet traditional stuff that Balinese use for cooking. You will experience picking spices from the garden, preparing the ingredients and cooking with the supervise the locals.
