Join an authentic Balinese cooking experience at Ubud Cooking Academy, a top-rated cooking school with more than 500 excellent reviews from travelers around the world.

The morning class includes a local market visit to discover fresh ingredients, herbs, spices, and local produce. The experience begins with learning how to make a traditional Balinese offering (canang sari), giving you insight into Balinese daily culture before cooking.

You will then learn to prepare 8 traditional Balinese dishes step by step with guidance from local instructors. After cooking, enjoy the meal you prepared together in a relaxed atmosphere. You will also receive a recipe book to take home so you can recreate the dishes anytime.

For your convenience, free hotel transfer is available in the Ubud area.

It was so lovely, and so much food!!

I was so well taken care of, couldn't recommend this enough. Really appreciate the host and sharing his home with everyone! Such a beautiful drive from Ubud centre as well

It was a lot of fun cooking Balinese cuisine!

The whole experience was so well curated and highly efficient. The chef made sure we were all engaged throughout the process. As a rather amateur cook, I really enjoyed experimenting with the ingredients and food of Bali. Would highly recommend this experience to cooks and non-cooks alike, because you get to eat everything that's been cooked! Thank you for this lovely experience.

Me and my kids had so much fun!

We wanted to book the night before and they replied very quickly and helped us book. The whole experience was very unique and helpful overall. We didn't buy ingredients from the local market cuz they had everything ready at the kitchen but we ended up buying lots of fruits, spices and a kitchen knife. The place where you cook is on top of the chefs house😳 and she's veryyyy proud of her work (as she should) everyone is very hands on and you get to make 6 dishes including dessert! I recommend the experience its worth the money.
