About
Join us for a traditional lunch with a view of the slopes of Mount Vesuvius paired with organic Lacryma Christi del Vesuvio Superiore DOP wines. Superiore wines have a higher alcohol content than the standard for their classification.
We will also tour the vineyards and our winery on Mount Vesuvius with a guide to learn about Lacryma Christi production. Enjoy lunch paired with a tasting of 5 Lacryma Christi DOP wines (Vegetarian and vegan options upon request).

A Must See Stop!
We stopped at Cantina Del Vesuvio winery in the afternoon on our way into Sorrento. It was a wonderful wine tasting and lunch experience. Delicious olive oil, red wine vinegar & wine. The food they served was great as well. All in all a great experience!

Beautiful vineyard with breathtaking views
The most welcoming, wonderful visit from the moment you arrive. The most breathtaking views and staff and friendly and knowledgeable. We had the most gorgeous paring lunch and the wine is just outstanding! They offer a short tour before you sit down for lunch and it was such a lovely experience!!

Wonderful Wine tour to discover the ecology of Campania.
We did a guided tour with Giovanni, who accompanied us with professionalism responding to every need. Our most sincere compliments to all the staff, kind and prepared on all production lines; friendly and prepared staff in the room, excellent dishes served. You particularly appreciate the attention to organic and the exaltation of the native vines, vinified in purity. We'll be back. Highly recommended.

Visiting Cantine del Vesuvio is much more than a simple tasting: it is a total immersion in a corner of paradise, set in the heart of the protected area of the Vesuvius Park. From the first moment, Maurizio – an exceptional person for passion, hospitality and authenticity – makes you feel not a customer, but a special guest, as if you were at the home of a long-time friend. All products are absolutely natural, the result of meticulous and respectful work on the earth. Each bottle tells a story, each sip of wine reflects the love and care with which the grapes are grown, harvested and transformed. It is very rare to find such a high quality, accompanied by such sincerity and dedication. The tasting area is simply spectacular: sitting among the rows, with Vesuvius behind and the Gulf of Naples before your eyes, you can taste extraordinary wines combined with exquisite, typical dishes prepared with local ingredients. It is an experience that involves all the senses, in a perfect balance between nature, flavors and beauty.

Unforgettable experience
Wow. Just wow. This place is absolutely magical. The vineyard sits at the bottom of the volcano. Picture perfect location. The wine tasting is divine and the food to die for. The owners make you feel at home, very warm and welcoming, the staff is kind and competent. You walk in and leave your worries behind. You get to relax as you are enjoying a sublime tasting and sensory experience. This place should be on your bucket list. 10/10

Cantina del Vesuvio is located on the slopes of Mount Vesuvius, near the town of Trecase, Italy.
If you can't reach us by car we can provide a free shuttle service from the Circumvesuviana train station in Torre Annunziata Oplonti(2 stops after Pompeii going towards Naples). Please request shuttle service when you book.
