Antignano Market Tour and Hands-on Cooking Session with Giorgia Chiatto Private Class

About

This private experience begins at the place where we have been going to throughout all our lives: the local market. Antignano is one of the oldest fresh markets in town. I remember going with my mum and tasting all the novelties that each season had to offer. Fruits, veggies, cheese, olives, local wine and produce,  and chances to play with fresh seafood all combined in a friendly atmosphere made up of cheerful vendors. 

On the market tour, we will visit their little shops and taste what they are offering based upon the season. We will also learn how to choose ingredients according to the season for freshness and, most importantly, the taste. You will be allowed to go around and interact with the friendly locals to learn about their life and culture. 

Next, we will walk back to the cooking school to begin cooking. Each step in the process will be hands-on, fun, and informative. After everything is cooked, we will enjoy the delicious meal we prepared with all our new friends and family.

• 9:30 am: We will meet at the school
• 9:40 am: Take a short 5-minute walk to the Antignano fresh market
• 9:45 am: Start our guided market tour or explore freely
• 10:30 am: Walk back to the school
• 10:35 am: Start hands-on food preparation 
• 11:15 am: Enjoy your delicious lunch with friends and family 
• 11:30 am: End of the class
