Da Nang Cooking Classes

During a rainy day in Danang we went to this cooking class. It was a fantastic experience for the whole family. We really enjoyed cooking with Hai and had delicious food in the end. Thanks.

The best part was being in her home and experiencing her life. The shopping for the food was a really great experience. Blue was very detailed in her instructions while making me feel very much a part of her culture. All of the dishes were explained and I went home with a wonderful cookbook that even had some history on each page. This was an unforgettable experience.

Learned 5 dishes. Some vegetarian. Lots of laughs and enjoyed going to the market. Thanks Blue you made it a wonderful experience

Our hosts welcomed us into their home with genuine warmth. Their hone was well outfitted and clean. We were introduced to the Vietnamese style of cooking, we enjoyed comfortable conversation throughout, we were guided through the meal prep with patience and support and the resulting meal was the best meal we have eaten throughout our travels in Vietnam. We all thoroughly enjoyed the experience and can strongly recommend. Thank you to our beautiful hosts.

Best part was eating the healthy food after cooking. The sauces brought the food to life.

I followed this course with my 11 years old daughter. We learned 5 recepties with tips for variations to prepare them at home. Nice short market visit to buy the ingredients and get some extra background information on the recipes and ingredients. Friendly and helpful teacher who explains and shows how to prepare the meal step by step. The meal was delicious!

Best part of the lesson was not only one. To go to a market with local, finding the fresh ingredient with knowledgeable teacher , and of course the taste of the dishes were so nice. It was one of the best part of my trip in Vietnam. Thanks to Evelyn and all the staff at the kitchen.

A really good hands on experience making some local delicacies. Lily was very welcoming, bringing us into her home and into her kitchen. The market was a short stroll away and communicating to her about the ingredients we were buying was very easy. Having a small group made it very personal and nice to bond together over the food we were preparing.

I now see how the four elements of taste come out in fresh Vietnamese food. We had issue at the airport and our instructor held things up so we could attend. I can't say enough about how kind and clear our instructors were. The Vietnamese crepes we made are the best we have had and we have tried four others in restaurants in Da Nang.

The class was very informative and enjoyable. Our host was knowledgeable and kind. The food was fresh and easy to make. I would highly recommend this experience.

Excellent course. We actually got to cook (and not just watch). The final dish was excellent, better than in a restaurant. Bora was a fantastic teacher. Thank you!

We cooked 4 dishes: Banh Xeo, Eggplant, Salad, Beef Pho. All of them are very delicious. The atmosphere is very nice because we play 2 games and the staff are very cheerful. The environment is clean and neat. Before the class, we also enjoyed guava juice, coconut jelly, durian and avocado ice cream at local traditional coffee shop. And, the staff brought us to Han Market to choose and buy ingredients. By the way, if we can choose to wear shoe covers / sandals

Great activity which the kids loved and the cooking lesson was well explained with fresh ingredients and very clean. Definitely recommend!

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed the class. The shopping and wet market experience was fantastic. We learned a lot about Vietnamese ingredients and what to choose (green /ripe) fruits for. The cooking lessons were also very fun and a great way to learn. We enjoyed eat our home cooked feast at the end!! Highly recommend!!

The hosts were so great and making us feel like home. It was such a nice experience to have the cooking class in the family’s home. The husband, wife and son helped us with our class and we enjoyed the food so much !!!!!
