Request a Private ExperienceIf you want an experience where they do everything for you this is not the one to choose. This is truly an Italian family home and kitchen where you will make several courses from fresh pasta and veggies to fish and dessert. The hosts are incredibly friendly and clearly passionate about their craft and making a comfortable but authentic atmosphere. When gramma arrives to help it’s the sweetest thing. She doesn’t speak a lick of English but will encourage and help throughout the day. I definitely recommend this over a more commercial larger experience where they want to take you to a tiny market and charging more. We had a very small group of seven people, and it was perfect. The food was outstanding and we left full and satisfied. The location is quite quaint as it’s right on the waterfront overlooking the beach.
Welcoming
The food was delicious… Manuela was a wonderful host…. She explained every detail how to prepare each dish. Definitely make an evening feee to spend time with Manuela and her family.

We have had many cooking classes while traveling in Europe. This class was a real experience- not entertainment, but a home cooking experience. Manuela was amazing—flexible with last‑minute requests with lemon tiramisu and cauliflower dishes! Shared so much about *why* and *how* good Italian food works and is made. Good tips on whisking the tiramisu and kneading the pasta dough. The swordfish rolls were amazing. We were inspired by the whole experience. We will definitely make them at home as soon as we get the recipe.

Paolo was extraordinary, as were the entire cooking staff. The class was amazing. I cannot believe how much food we cooked and it was delicious and fun to do from start to finish. The class was 10 people, a perfect size. Lots of attention and laughs. And the food, we baked a whole Sea Bass in salt, made five or six pastas, eggplant parmigiana, sardine croquettes, Swordfish cutlets, all truly delicious and it made us all look like real chefs. I plan to replicate this meal for Christmas back home. Thank you Chef Paolo and team.
Our class with Manuela was one of the highlights of our trip so Sicily. She and her mother were so welcoming into their home and arranged a fantastic meal. As we were cooking Manuela provided the history and cultural importance of the dishes and how they are had in Sicily. She also provided options as to how to change them up from time to time. It was very special and we are grateful for her time and insights.
Manuela was a wonderful host. She was patient and kind. Manuela taught us to make 4 courses of authentic Sicialian foods. It is apparent she has great experience. The recipes we made were some of the best foods we have had in our life. Request Manuela for your next cooking class. You won’t regret it.
Cooking with very fresh ingredients, overlooking the sea (the balcony looks out on the bay) in the home of Manuela, an experienced Italian cooking teacher. Her English is great which helped us. The food is different for each session she teaches, working around our preferences. And our pasta was great! The fried anchovies were so good. And, although the course was supposed to finish by 9:30, we were still happily chatting at 10:15 with the other couple there. Really recommend.
We went to the Sicilian cooking class and we had a great time. First we went at the market and got a lot of explanations about the local food. Then we came back to the restaurant and started cooking. They explained us how to cook different styles of pasta and how to prepare two different types of fish. The cooks have been really nice and the food was amazing. We really enjoyed it and can only recommend it! :)
Our Pizza making class in Taormina was amazing! My husband, 8 years old, and I did the class and had the best time. We were very excited to find out we got to learn how to make pasta as well. We were well-fed! The bonus (that my child loved) was that we got to keep our aprons and received a certificate at the end. My partner and I were excited to receive copies of the recipes in our email so we can continue to make delicious pasta and pizza at home. Maurizio was very knowledgeable and so great with my little one. I cannot say enough wonderful things about the staff and experience.

Solo travelers can use the class as a social meet‑up, couples can enjoy a romantic cooking evening, and families with kids often love the hands‑on nature of making arancini or cannoli together.
