Situated in a gorgeous villa on the hills of Sorrento with a breathtaking view of the Sorrento Bay and the Vesuvius, Chez Barone is the result of a synergy between Mamma Luisa our stellar chefs, Tiziana and Barbara. Passion for food, local traditions and Southern Italian hospitality are what drives us to open Chez Barone.

Come and spend an afternoon and evening in the Villa del Barone. You will be able to enjoy the natural beauties that have made the villa famous all over the world. Fully enjoying the wonders that it offers: panorama view that takes your breath away, the walk in the garden, the rich history of a baronial house, cultural traditions and gastronomy from our family.

After a welcome prosecco around our pool, or a visit to our biodynamic garden, you will be introduced to the Sorrentine and Neapolitan cuisine of "Chez Barone". This is a place where passion, attention to detail, imagination, and delicious taste thrive. We provide top quality ingredients from our Limoneto (lemon grove) and our biodynamic garden. 

You'll have a great time during this cooking class and will learn useful secrets for preparing unique recipes, which have been passed on generations of local families. 

Whether you come solo, with your family or friends, we will make sure that you will be able to show your new sets of skills back in your home kitchen. At the end of the day, you'll receive a complimentary apron, chef's hat, certificate of completion, and a cookbook.

• Homemade ravioli Capri-style

Prosecco, homemade wine, coffee, and soft drinks are included. Gluten-free and vegetarian menu available on request. 

Schedule

• 4:15 pm: Pick up service from Sorrento train station.
• 4:30 pm: Greeted with our welcome prosecco by the poolside 
• 5:00 pm: Introduction to Sorrentine and Neapolitan cuisine
• 5:15 pm: Begin the cooking lesson
• 5:00 pm: Short coffee break before we set up for dinner
• 7:30 pm: Sit down and have dinner together
• 9:15 pm: Drop you back off to Sorrento train station
