Fonnie, who is the leader of the Team, and her Husband Michael are your hosts. She’s looking back on more than 20 years of experience in Thai Cooking including around 10 years as a Chef in different Thai Restaurants in Switzerland. Come and join the Time with us and let us tell you our Secrets!

Fonnie

I was born and raised in Thailand and grew up from a family that love to cook Thai foods. My parents opened a Thai restaurant when i was young and i learned recipes and secret’s from them. In 1995, my brother opened a first Thai cooking school in Chiang Mai and i helped him work for many years. After that i got married with Switzerland people and move there. And i’m lucky to get a job that i love as a Thai chef in Thai restaurant. And i worked there more than 10 years. I love to cook Thai food. And all our menus it is a traditional recipe and remains true to Thai food. We have some simple cooking tips which people with no experience in cooking can do it like a chef. And we also have a very good full color of recipe book that we have made for everyone. We grow organic vegetables, fruits, herbs and spices at our own garden so that our customers, who come to study with us, will be comfortable with the atmosphere that is pleasant and full with various trees. Amazing!

The cooking class was amazing. We got picked up from our hotel, had an interesting tour at the local market and in the cooking class garden. After that we started cooking delicious food that we chose to make ahead of time, and the staff was so nice and welcoming. Highly recommended!

Great experience! I would recommend

We had a great time with Siam Cooking. They were attentive, patient, and knowledgeable. They were instantly communicative about transportation and very accommodating. We toured a local market and had time to peruse ourselves. They have a garden on site so they showed us all the ingredients they grow that we would be cooking with. It felt intimate and clean. It was family style eating with everything we made. All the ingredients were laid out for us and the instructions were clear. We made some really yummy dishes that I’ve been eating my whole trip. At the end they give you access to recipe/cook book that you can use when you get home. I would recommend this class!

Amazing cooking class!

My partner and I had a great time at the Siam Garden cooking class! Cream and Fon were super friendly and made everything fun and easy to follow. The food was delicious, and they even went out of their way to post my sunglasses to my next hotel after I left them behind. Highly recommend!
