このクラスについて

First a trip to the market to purchase all fresh ingredients. Then, we board on our river boat for a relaxing 30-minute ride to Thuan Tinh Island, a gem hidden away from the downtown hustle.

To reach your destination, we take a row boat ride through the water coconut trees. We then walk through the gardens to our open-air cooking class overlooking the water coconut trees and river. Our chefs will show you how to make Vietnamese food while you enjoy the cool breeze and peaceful setting.

Our morning class will be able to experience the Central Market at its busiest time of the day. You have a wide range of products to select from. If you're an early bird, this is the class for you!

Tohanh Bui

My father was lovingly called Uncle Thai by everyone he knows. He was one of the legends who helped built Hoi An to be the tourism capital of Vietnam as it is known today. From when he first arrived to Hoi An in 1995, to the day he bid farewell to this beautiful town in Spring 2015, his many, seemingly “eccentric” ideas, have become successful businesses that, in turn, create revolutions in the cooking, drinking, and touring industries in Hoi An. Uncle Thai’s love for food came from an unlikely place. A proud graduate of University of Chicago’s famed Booth School of Business, as well as the North American champion in windsurfing in the 80’s, many of his friends thought he would either climb the ranks at Wall Street or, open his own surf shop in Hawaii. Yet, after years of living in France and the U.S., Uncle Thai came back to Vietnam, and settled in Hoi An, to live near the calm ocean and use his business talent to grow this town. One of his creations is our peaceful, meaningful and reputable cooking class.

Highlight of our trip

We thoroughly enjoyed our cooking class with Nhi - she made the whole adventure fun and we loved the meals we cooked!

Ni was a very lively lady and made it a fun experience☺️ Enjoyed the whole experience.

The flavours and herbs used were so vibrant. The whole experience from the beginning till end is wonderful. You get to eat all the food you make so go on an empty stomach as there is plenty to eat and it’s all delicious. Still waiting for the recipes to be sent to me by email. Please can you send them over. I was in the group with Ni the early morning one on the 24th. I have sent my email on the group chat in the email where you had asked for the what’s app no. Thank you

Yummy!

The Cooking class with Nhi was at a really nice, quiet place in a small group. After the rush but interesting look into the market we came there and started cooking. The food was amazing and Nhi always open for questions. Unfortunatly she hasn't got much time in the end but we could enjoy our meal. After that we had a nice little coconut boat tour, the driver took us everywhere we need to go.

Amazing!

I loved this cooking class so much, our instructor, Nhi was kind and fun. The location was very nice, being in this open space and the dishes we made were quite simple but so delicious!
